i have that to, i maked a Super League, with al great club's Europe, like AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea... i checked the box, it is a league and appears in career mode. Then i added the league in region 5. Then i started up Fifa, i looked, it was there, i thought. I chose Juventus, and i play in the Serie A but the rankings are with al that great clubs...

I have uploaded the program again. (I suppose my provider removes the old files automatically because I didn't remove it).
About the crashes in career mode: I have been able to reproduce the problem so now I'll work on it.

Good! I hope you have better luck than me finding the cause of the crash, I've been looking and testing things in every table of the fifa.db and lan.db, I even took a look at the hidden common.ini in the config.dat but no luck yet.

In tournament mode however everything runs smooth, no crash in my Russian and Serie C Leagues. In career mode I started an new career with Atalanta Bergamo in the Serie B, and I can buy/sell players to the Serie C teams without crash...however I can't play a Serie C as my team in career or I get the dreaded June 2004 screen and crash out...

Something I thought about : When Creation Centre creates a new League, he assigns league_id 2001 to the first one, then 2002 to the next and so on, could it be that there is a logic in the original league_id's (much like in the rtsg fields in tournament creation), that you need to give it a specific number (or increasing it with a specific value) to link it to a region?

I won't have time to test this today as I have RL stuff to do, but maybe something to look into to rule that possiblility out, or hopefuly find the magic fix

It is unfortunately still crashing.

I found another problem though, for some strange reason if I unlink the custom tournaments I created from "appears in career mode" in TM, and I check them again some time later, sometimes another team will be added for no reason to the newly created custom tournament.

This way Honduras found itself linked to my Russian League tournament and Dynamo Kiev found itself linked to the Serie C1/A tournament, it only happens with custom teams and only if you unlink the custom tournaments from "appears in career mode".

Of course I can remove them in a few seconds with Tournament Master, but still they shouldn't appear in my tournament for no reason...

Unfortunately I have the same problem as before, the serie C teams since they are now linked to the Serie B with relegation/promotion have replaced the Serie B as selectable teams in Career Region 3, but if you select one to play a career, same error you end up at june 1st 2004 with only options and new season buttons to press and bam crash to desktop after the fixtures bar tries to load... damn

Why don't you try one of the serie c team first, then add the second one if it works.

Also, if the start date of the league is before or after teh serie B team, that <b>might</b> have an effect.

ok, I just downloaded the program, all I have to say now is good work! Look great, and has plenty of detail. I'm going to add some comments, but I don't know when because the next couple of weeks I'm going to be away.

Did you add Honduras and Dynamo Kiev with Creation Center in the meanwhile? Because it is the Creation Center to add a new team to the last tournament of the list, see the note in the help.
This was also the reason why I got a crash while trying to make my own Serie C1 league (it happens like you say while uploading the blue bar), it's because the new teams were added to the European Supercup by the CC, after I removed them from European Supercup, the Serie C1 league worked fine also in Career Mode.
If you are still unsuccesfull next step could be to send to me your Russian Teams extracted with the CC and I will try to reproduce your situation.

You probably have Juventus playing both in Serie A AND in your new league. FIFA 2005 is not able to manage in Career mode the fact that a team participates to two leagues. I explain better, in the calendar you get both the games of Serie A and your new league, in the statistic center you get only the Table for one of the two leagues (the most recently added).

yes that is true, i saw it now... but how to prevent, that they will play in 2 competitions???

No I didn't add them with CC, they were already in my game before I inserted the Serie C and the Russian teams

I don't know if this fact is important or not but maybe your Serie C leagues are already linked to the Serie B and is why it is working for you. Also what league_id's do you have for your Serie C leagues?

And do your Serie C leagues appear in the GUI when you select a Region in career mode or not? This is important because if they do work in career and don't appear in the GUI I can concentrate on looking for the cause of the crash elsewhere.

The crash occurs when the blue bar loads for the second time when I select "next season" option. When it loads for the first time it goes from 0% to 100% immediatly as if it loaded nothing, when I select an original fifa team that does work in career mode, the bar takes a few seconds to load to 100% so I think that for the crashing teams it tries to load the tournament data the first time but can't find it, leaving me just with the options menu and the next season option and as you know, crashes the second time trying to load the tournament again.

I checked and double-checked every tournament to make sure there was no team cross-linked by error (the cause of your crash as you wrote in your last post) but there is none in my case.

This is getting really frustrating, I bet the solution is near but I overlook it because it's something simple. Fortunately your career mode works for the Serie C, so there IS a way to make it work...

I tried several times to play with the "Appears in Career" check but I have not seen the problem. Let me know if you are able to find a sequence of operations to replicate the problem.

The promotion/relegation don't matter, they should work as stand alone and they should work when linked, I first made them stand alone, then I linked to Serie B. The league_id (Asset in TM) can be what you want but, if you want "to synchronize" the GUI with your new tournament, you must have the same league_id assigned by the Creation Center (e.g. 2001, 2002 and so on), this is what I did. See the GUI/Edit menu.

No the leagues do not appear in the region presentation but the teams of the leagues are selectable inside that region.

The same happened to me, but now when I click "Next season" the carrier starts normally.

1) In order to synchronize the GUI with a tournament they must have the same asset id. TM cannot assign the asset id of the GUI, it is assigned by default by FIFA or by the CC when you create a new league (it uses 2001, 2002 and so on). If, in TM, you choose the same Asset number then the GUI and the tournament can be synchronized. Download version 0.3, I have added the visualization of the GUI Aset in the GUI Editor window.

Ok, I upgraded to TM version 0.3 and I changed the id's of my custom trophy graphics from 100 to 2001 for Russian League, 36 to 2002 and 37 to 2003 for Serie C1/A and Serie C1/B and I can now synchronize in the GUI menu of Tournament Master.

Now since I did that, career mode takes a lot longer to load, from 10 seconds max it went up to double that at least, and I took that as a good sign, the music stops, my hd was making noise and then I got the region select screen, I took region 3, there I have the Serie C teams and Serie B teams in the menu but if I select a Serie C one same story it crashes again when I press start new season, frustrating.

I will send you the russian .c05 teams soonish, I have to stop searching for today and put my thoughts on something else for a while, I'm only going to get angry if I continue today lol :fool:

P.S. : Donovan send me a fifa.db he made for me with the serie C teams linked to the Serie B, when I use his database, the Serie B teams are no longer selectable in career mode, only the Serie C ones are, but again it crashes at the same point, sigh...

I don't know guys, I've made two league below MLS and had no problem putting it in career mode. So I don't know what's going on.

It possibly could just be a glitch in the game because I think the Europe region is all souped up in some of the files. But it's just a guess.

By the way, if you add more tourneys that have "qualify from this year", it makes the career loading screen much longer, so I would just avoid that if possible.

The reason you can't select the serie B teams, because if you attach a league using promotion relegation - it always goes to your first season in carreer mode to the lowest league, In my MLS patch, you have to start with USL 2 your first season.

I would try to put different teams in your serie c league, just to try, ones you know work, just to see what happens. Ones that arn't edited.
