Lesson 1:

Fianlly went out driving with my Dad (cheaper than lessons), after 9 attempts i finally put down the clutch, put it into first, took the handbrake off and pulled away FINALLY without stalling it.

I found it extremley annoying to be quite honest, not stalling it when going from clutch into accelerator was really hard for me, the biting point as its known.

Anyway i will be updating this constantly, lol

I drove on holiday and I did it properly on my 3rd go :p N I went up2 4th :ewan:

I dont understand it.. The british are wankers for everythin in general.. But we still HAVE to use manuals? Why dont everyone just have automatics? Most american cars are auto's right?

Lol why though, what's actually easier theoritically. Start and go. Yeah i'll drive a Manual all my life, no problems. But im jus sayin auto's are the easiest aint they.

Just put it in drive and go go go

Hah, I had the same problem as TROD when I went for my first driving lesson last week.. But I think I have the hang of it now, I'm gonna go out again today.

bloody automatic, get off your lazy asses and actually do some proper driving.

Stick an automatic user in manual car and they wouldnt have a clue.
