so there you go, 363 days after i started this thread, it's pretty much done and dusted, thanks everyone for your help (particularly in the early days with the clutch.. oh god the clutch) and hope this has made 'decent' reading if nothing else!

i started driving last week, my first lesson never been in a car before!!, i was **** scared but i think i did ok and i got up into 3rd gear, i need to get the hang of the clutch as i stalled it a couple times and my steering needs to improve, i got 2 months insurance on me mums car so im driving that around with them, which should help me with progress.

got enuf money for lessons, not enough for insurance yet but hope my parents will help out and they are buying me a car, prob some crappy ford fiesta 1.1 but hey if it runs thats all i care, i may do it up a lil, pimp my own ride
