i live at Sungai Petani, Kedah. early morning in december 26, around 9am. i feel some quake while i having my breakfast. my chair is a little bit shaking and i feel a little bit faint. same does to every one in the coffee shop.

tidal wave hit Gurney Drive at Penang island. the road all become muddy and no more hawker stall that day. some car flush away by the wave at Gurney Drive as well. 5 deads found at Penang.

i watch the news, India and Bangladesh are far more serious than Malaysia. so does Puket. the wave are around 5-6 feet high. flood every where at Bangladesh and Puket. thats very horrible. i was lucky because i prepare to go Gurney Drive yesterday for movie but some how i cancel it. thank god

Fuck. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. I can't believe it wiped Gourney Drive out. 10,000 lives taken. The pictures nearly brought tears to my eyes, I have never seen such things here in Malaysia. :(

RIP.

I think it was more of a wakeup call to religion thumpers... 'Wake up!! something big just happened in the world.. its a gotta be god!'

or maybe it wasnt god at all? ;) Thought about that?

Are you sure it's only 10 metres? A tsunami is usually bigger than that.

Either way, my thoughts go out to the tens of thousands who have lost relatives or are homeless. It just shows you how powerful nature can be. It's uncontrolable

Malaysia wasnt supposed to be affected in the first place.

Malaysia is 'geografically safe'.

The waves from the middle of the ocean were travelling at 500 mph but slowed down and hit Northern Malaysia at 80mph.
