I think if Arsenal didn't fall asleep in the 19th minute, they could have had that game quite easily actually. Prior to that, they were piling on attack at Barca, as soon as Lehman got sent off, Barca slowly began to overtake the whole field.

Why do all the officials come from Scandinavia nowadays?

No offence but they dont have national leagues to the standard as the major european nations and therefore the quality of officiating is lower.

I'm sorry for Arsenal, they deserved more IMO, barcelona sucked all game. I think the 2 goals were very very stoppable, Arsenal really miss Lehman after all, that keeper really sucks. I bet arsenal would have taken the goal from Ludovic and kept Lehman, Imo thats what the ref should have done.

The thing is that after 20 minutes, Arsenal were still creating some kind of attacks and had Barca in their own half a few times, but once the second half started, it was all Barca, Arsenal's defense positioned closer and closer to their own net.

theres not much more to say about this game. we came out playing, unfortunate incident (of course a red though) and from then we had to be smart. unfortunatley almunia is too big and slow to get down and save. also for the first goal he already decided he was going to his left and then quickly tried to come back straight, which gave eto'o a nice gap in the goal. hard luck though, i just hope henry stays. if he does, we are solid contenders for next year.
