Chelsea will take the 3points at the end of this dreadful match :brow:

Paulo Ferreira scores his first goal in the last 4 years :taz: (dunno if he scored previously)

Starting XI
I think it could be alot more open and back and forth than everyone assumes, but it will be made so because counterattacking will be the order of the day. The stability might begin to break down in all of that.

The back 4 will be solid, but I hope Wayne Bridge makes the bench as an extra option, and maybe to get him a few minutes.

Anyway, this is a statement game that must be won at all costs. Chelsea must exorcise the effect the kop had on them last year and quiet them, thus:

Pool 0 - 1 Chelsea
Joe Cole to score in the 89th, Crouch to twist his ankle on an errant hubcap on the pitch and somehow, Lampard will take the blame

Starting XI
Chelsea develops a much better play that Liverpool, but this CL games beetwen 2 english sides are so unpredictable. Tie.
