I have got to say Riise's nutmeg to the two chelsea defenders was extreme.Riise has a damn pair of fast legs.Anyone got that clip.

Carvalho had a decent match although I have definitely seen better matches by him this season. I do think, he deserved a yellow for pushing Kewell over.

Umm, alright. Im not here to get into some personal war, so ill try and stick to the points you made. Firstly, i see a huge difference between getting eliminated in the first round, and being knocked out by an aggregate of 1-0 in the semifinal. Just to make this clear, the difference is two rounds.

Im glad that it doesnt matter that we won the premiership, eventhough thats apparrently not as impressive as the squandered lead you now hold over madrid. Good luck with that, by the way (im actually being sincere[no seriously])

And let me get this straight: Reason one Chelsea doesnt "work" in the CL is because of the man who won it two years ago? That doesnt really make sense, but maybe your argument about his "stupid" tactics holds some merit. But first you criticize counter attacking on the wings and in the center (so, i guess, over the whole pitch?) but the counter attack, as you'll recall, caused Barca to collapse like a neutron star for 20 minutes in leg two, and heading? Well, that finished the job, so i fail to see the problem with that strategy. But wingplay is important to chelsea, no dobut: its just that usually, with Robben and Duff, its actually successful.

And about comparing clubs, well, before 2003, that wouldve been like stacking Barca up against Osasuna. But things are a bit different now. It was a measure of how much respect chelsea fans had for your team (though apparrently your team didnt reciprocate that) that beating Barca was a huge acomplisment, almost as joyous as winning a title in itself. That said, i felt that happy, and it goes to show, as i have the utmost respect for FC Barcelona.

Ill read up on your nickname, but be advised: it was just a joke, not meant to be insultory of you, or something. Im not really sure what you mean by this,

but it sounds really cryptic. Anyway, glad we got that settled

Well, agree with the first part...has not sense to enter in a "personal battle" about this, only discussing our viewpoints, anyway i think that we have them very different.

Yes, there´s a lot of diference between falls in the quarters and in the semifinal....the money. That´s the only diference. But for this reason i dont find sense in to make remarkable this point, i mean, Chelsea, almost today, does not need money. Prestige?? Well...in only one step of diference between the chelsea-barça and the liverpool-chelsea macth.

The man that won the UCL 2 years ago....and be honest with me, please, is an egocentric man that after won with Oporto he thinks that can win all with any team....contradictory things, cause, in my opinion, i find more strong Chelsea than Oporto, then...why chelsea falls?? I didnt meant about the Whole field, i meant about the play more repetitive that have Chelsea, ball on the wingers, counter attack, center to the area...and.....sometimes goal, sometimes not, is u use too much in excese something u know the results.....thats the reason that Chelsea falls...the good Liverpool defence (the 3 goals againts Barça, i found that it was really stupid from our defenders...really...lack of concentration)

Finally about compare clubs, i preferd dont do it. Chelsea is a young and strong club now, nothing to see with a classic club like Barça, they are too much diference in that sense. And about the respect, i never fault to the respect to any fan of chelsea, all opossite, for to hold a trainer as Mourinho, pfffff....Chelsea fans have really balls.....in this sense. Furthermore i was impresed with the fans actitude here in Barcelona, u know, the "fame" of holygans...i dont know.

Nevermind about the nick...hehe

Cryptic?? Well...the sentence means that with wet guns u cannot shot well....kinda metaphoric.....

Take care

Im glad we could have a civil discussion. Sorry if i got snappy or took your comments out of context before, but i was a bit touchy after the loss, and may have taken things personal. You seem like a good guy, and i was glad for the discussion :)

Your first two points, about chelseas's failings with Mourinho, and Barca crashing out early can be summarized in the fact that, in European club competition, with the continents best sides, you never know what will happen. Porto managed to play craftily, and beat sides that were "better" than them on paper. Likewise, Barca probably shouldve beat Chelsea, and Chelsea probably shouldve beat Liverpool, but as it stands, they didnt, and thats just how things are. Football is like that, as is all sport, i guess

About the comparison of clubs, your right: its a bit pointless. Barca have all that glorious history, and Chelsea are just beginning their run as a world-class side...hopefully. Yes, "dealing" with Jose is a bit taxing, and i disagree with his attitude alot of times, but thats why hes a winner and i am a nobody :fool: . Im glad the fans that came to Catalonia were not too out of hand: i believe the club recently cleaned up this aspect of its more vile supporters, so thats good for everyone involved, as people like that dont want football: they want racist jokes and chants, beer and violence

And your end sentence there, as you can see, i comindeered for my signature. It makes perfect sense now that you explain it all there, and if you have no objections, i think ill keep it, as it was unfortunately very true :( Anyway, glad we sorted that out like adults. Usually these things get less civil as they go along :jap:

Wasnt Drogba top scorer in UEFA last year?
Yes, i believe he was. All the more reason to believe the guy has got class yet to tell. Christ, if he works on that first touch and the control, with his size, he could be brilliant

They behaved very well and didn't cause any problem at all. The relation between both sides supportrers was friendly ...

but there's something that I want to complain about (6): asked about Albert Ferrer, it took some time for some of them to remember who he was... :taz:

Panx, DT, thats something im glad to hear. Nothing is more vile and contrary to the nature of sport than hooliganism, and I know chelsea have, historically, had a particularly bad reputation. I heard on another, all Chelsea board, about some fans from the Chelsea section who spat and threw things at a Barca section (in which the writer, a chelsea fan, was sitting) but outside of that, im glad nothing more serious. Racism, violence, etc, there is no need for things like that as incidents like Heysel demonstrate (caused, by off the pitch violence against liverpool the previous year) and there was enough rubbish between Chelsea and Barca between just the players and managers :fool:

Don't you love when someone, in the same post, writes that Mourinho 'is an egocentric man that after won with Oporto' and then calls himself 'The Mind'?
And why the hell would anyone sign his name on the bottom followed with such akward tag?

Oh Great 'The Mind', and what it that Oporto you're talking about? I'm a supporter of the club that won the CL last year, even watched most games on the stad, and don't recall another team called Oporto beating my FC Porto... Beats me, but well, you're The Mind, right?

sorry guys just had to post this..........Listen up "the mind"...i have followed Chelsea through thick and thin since i was 6 years old.I have waited all my life to see Chelsea win the League title and this season we did it.In England this is regarded as a huge achievement.I'm sure its a big deal in Spain too but maybe you are just so blase about it because your team have won the Spanish league before and maybe it just bores you.The Premiership IS more important to me than the CL....i have stated this many times all through the season. We had a great/scary time playing and BEATING Barca and the rest, and i enjoyed it.However much you dont like Chelsea ,and to be honest ,nobody cares why,we at least made people think about us this year, and they will be thinking about us next year too.For someone who attemps to come across as an intelligent person.....why do you behave like such a juvenile wanker?...have a nice day dickhead and try to act a little more adult huh?........ :)
