And also how everybody assumes Lyon and Bordeaux are walkover teams

It's not an assumption.....they are!

The winner of ManU-Bayern WILL cruise into the final with no real problems in the semi-final.

Then how the hell did Bordeaux end up first with 16 points (out of 18) in a group which contained Bayern and Juventus? How about Lyon? How did they manage to get past Madrid? They are not walk-over teams. They shouldn't be underestimated.

Bayern isn't very good in Europe.

And Juve? Haha! Even Fulham beat Juve. I wouldn't consider Bordeaux to be much better than Fulham....infact they might be even considering how piss-poor the French league is and has been since who the hell knows when.

As far as Lyon, if they get to the semifinals, the will have gone as far as they can go in the 2009-2010 Uefa Champions League. They simply aren't capable of doing more. Sorry, but Real hasn't been much better than Bayern, in Europe, over the past 6 seasons.....they aren't the scalp they used to be.

Based on Bayern's paltry effort against Stuttgart today(2-1 loss), you may even call Bayern a walkover team.

Try and tell any Arsenal fan that you(Manchester United) think that you(Manchester United) have it bad in the Champions League.

these English pundits seem to have a selective memory ... ever since the draw was made, they've been banging on about Bayern wanting revenge for 1999 ... but they seem to have forgotten that Man Yoo and Bayern met in the 2000/01 Champions League quarterfinals, when Bayern exacted "revenge" by winning both home and away legs, on their way to winning the Champions League outright!

Missed most of the game but glad I was able to catch the last part of it.. ManU really fell asleep on that last goal and what a mistake by Neville to give up that free kick.

And to top things of, Rooney comes out limping..

From the highlights the Lyon - Bordeaux match looked like a real cracker, cruel for Bordeaux the third goal shouldn't have been a penalty the player wasn't even looking.

The French match was very entertaining. Say what you will about the penalty (I think it was the right call), Lyon deserved the 3-1 result. Bordeaux had their chances, but Lyon was much better on the night. They were oozing with confidence. I have a feeling we'll see a very different Bordeaux in the return leg.

Apparently he's out for 6 weeks. Chelsea must be loving it.
