Because Konami don't have that much money to by rewievers. And BTW, these are not rewiews bu prewiews, the game isn't released and from what I know, noone, even journalists have played it yet. These rewiewers are just starting to suck EA's dick before it even asked for it.

Lies, lies and lies, a friend of mine have WE8, PES4 and FIFA 2005 to review and he said to me that this year FIFA blows PES, considering that he's a good reviewer, seeing the awesome videos and other reviewers saying also that is awesome i just can think it's awesome, you're a KONAMI fan so you WANT FIFA to suck, stick with PES or WE and let FIFA, if you have PES why you bother with FIFA? It hurts you so much? FIFA will blow again PES in sells...

WTF, I don't want fifa tu suck. I have played this since the first one and always hope for the better in the next one. I've spent more than just few hours to try the gameplay of every new fifa game. And i would be superglad if EA could give Konami some good kicking so they'll try and make even better games. Competition is always a good thing in market.
And im not a fan of Konami. Fans of whatever are stupid slimy retards. I'm an admirer of konami and their work.
Btw. Did your friend, rewiewer played some alpha/beta to make such a confident statemant?

The videos seem to show that Fifa2k5 is not much better than Fifa2k4. Kind of disappointing really. The player models still look unrealistic (burn victims as some would describe).

you have to tell me for which magazine/web site that friend of yours works...
i've played WE8, and i can say that it's much better than PES3, and it will be impossible for EA to overcome WE8's gameplay in Fifa2005...impossible because they would need several years of iterations to get from the crappy Euro2004 gameplay to something similar to WE8...

i've played fifa since 98 i think (fifa 98 was amazing btw) and after living my whole life as a fifa fan, one day, after playing fifa 2004 like mad (until i got bored in 2 months cuz it was always the same) i found PES3, i saw some short videos and i was amazed becuz the realistic movements and feeling the players had....

I got Pes3 and OMG"!! what tha hell had i been missing!!!! (the graphics kind of dissapoint me but they aren't bad at all)

btw, i have played Fifa 2004 to the point that its disgusting

i've played more than 200 matches with PES3 (and i know there are people who have played more) and im still not bored of PES, its just amazing!!, i can't describe it

and for the people talking about LICENSES, well, Pes has such a big patching community that the licenses are no real argument when talking about FIFA VS PES


PES/WE rules over fifa...that's my conclusion

why oh why did i download the demo.

Converted to pes a year ago after playing pinball 20...errr i mean fifa 2004 and it was the best decision i ever made. Thought i woud give the fifa demo a try to see their " revolutionary" new gameplay, but it still isnt anything compared to fiifa rtwc 98 or fifa 99 which in my opinion were pretty good fifa games. its like someone said a mix between fifa2003 and 2004 , it's just plain ****.

Took me 5 mins to download the demo, 2 mins to play and 10 secs to uninstall, what a waste of time.

could have been playing a nice ml game with castolo and minanda during that time.

Someone said "FIFA will blow again PES in sells...".... so does that mean it's the better game ?????

And a review that says that fifa2005 is the best football game ever ???

Learn how to use first touch and give it a chance. It's a pity that PES players won't give FIFA 2005 a chance just because of its name.

On the surface it seems similar to FIFA 2004. But when you play it further you will see it's improved dramatically. Everything from passing to shooting. And even PES fans should give FIFA some praise for the first touch system. This is an innovative new gameplay feature and you would have realised that if you gave it a good go. With this we can score great, unique goals like Bergkamp's famous goal against Newcastle.

I too was converted from FIFA to PES after the 2004 version but this version is great to play. I got sick of the FIFA 2004 demo after a few matches but with 2005 I want to go back for more. You shouldn't write it off because IMO this FIFA is undoubtably the best FIFA yet.

I have your opinion, is a shame that people just can look at the name FIFA, if they had this gameplay but with other name they would say that the game was quite impressive, this makes me laugh cause for example when i saw Football Kingdom opinions it looked a great game and when i played i got disapointed but PES fans kept saying it was awesome, if the game was FIFA they would say that was ridiculous cause that's what i think that FK is...
