I think gameplay is the same except a little faster maybe cause now moving around a player is more quicker. To be honest with you I was a little worried with the first demo cause the response was really late. But now I think Konami really fixed that. It plays and feels much better now. Besides this there are no differences. Who knows maybe Konami will tweak a little more before the actual game comes out...

About the commentary demo

commentary seem to be up with the play now, also seems to be in sync with what is happing on the pitch, rather than getting a comment that wasn't relevent to the play in pes 4, i got called for dangerous play (high foot) don't remember this in pes 4, so from the snipit in this new demo, things are looking good on the commentary side

The reason it seems up with play is because the commentry file, is not even half full of samples, i've just tried the proper audio file from the ps2 beta version, and parts of the commentry aren't even used in the pc version to whats compared in the ps2 one i.e long passes to the right to the left etc are missing.

Maybe it's a restriction in the exe file? I bloody hope so, otherwise commentry is gonna be, a bit bitty!
And if you listen to the quality of the samples in the new demo, it sounds rather bad, like konami, didn't do it.

Because if you extract the sample from the afs file convert to wav then re-insert it as an adx, it sounds like the files that are on this new demo.

I don't think konami did it!

The commentary is fuzzy and partial. A half-arsed Brackley and Brooking with bad microphones. Play is quicker. I'm not sure how legit this demo is; if it was fully legit, Konami would have released it. It's semi-good; half-a-job methinks.

To be honest i'd say after playing it more it is from konami as the players seem sharper.
But that won't be the standard of the commentry when it gets released.
Just think of other little improvements they can do, the best footie game just got that bit better :bouncy:

exactly, I am very sure the EXEs are different so there is no way to create the EXE following those instructions.

in fact, this demo is the first released demo by konami.
The second demo can be downloaded from the official pes5 site.
I think the final release of pes5 is similar to the second demo

I don't like this demo's gameplay...
The dribble is too easy as pes4...moreover, the pass is more accuracy. I can get 6-0 in a 10 min match

I believe the demo is only 5 minutes, as it's just one half. But that If you haven't unlocked it of course?! So you actually can play one half of 10 minutes and not just 5 Minutes. But Since the old and the new pes5.exe aren't eactly the same size, i kinda doubt It. :)

Did that and it locked up my system...had to hit the power switch
