Luis !

The feature with the language option in the locale.ini is very clever.
I've got the German version and before, only the German language was available.
Now I can have the French menus :D
You 're the boss. Very good patch

Cheers JM

the 1.03 is even better.

I don't know why but in the portuguese version gillingham is called Fredericia. I thought that was because of license issues but i changed the language to english and the club has his right name. LOL

Yeah I've got some problems with EAgraph. How do I import that aicpu.big file because that's a bit unclear to me. Constantly I try to import it, it gives an error message. What am I doing wrong, here?

D. Animal: instead of using EA Graph to import aicpu.big, download the BigGUI Utility in this site:

http://www.greymana.de/temp/fifatools.zip

This utility allows you to view, export and import the files inside "zdata_6.big" (where the "aicpu.big" file is...). Well, actually, it also allows u to view files inside the "config.dat" (main folder of FIFA 2004), other zdata files, etc...

For example, if you open "config.dat" with thiz utility, you'll see that it contains files like "ai.ini", "common.ini", etc... then, u can choose which file u want to export, edit (I use EditPlus 2 to edit these, but I think Notepad will do it), and then import back, using the same utility.

PS: Someone said that we have to change the extension of "config.dat" to "config.big"... well I did thiz, but even with the ".dat" extension I could afford to view the files...

Write back if ur havin' probs with thiz....

Hey Luis,

I haven't had a chance to give the new version a try yet... I will later tonight. If it really is better than your first it must be kickass!! can't wait!

Anyway...

I've been ripping my hair out trying to solve that Keeper bug...

I think you're right, it's EA's crap code that says a keeper with a higher skill rating will go down earlier. Doesn't make much sense to me!! I've tried everything but can't seem to fix it, but than again I'm not a very good programmer.

As you said we might just have to accept it. "sigh".... yet again, we get boned by EA...

Canucklehead,

about the fifa series

D. Animal - I'm surprised. I would rather expect u to ask where da hell is that place (mozambique)... most of the people i chat with (europeans basically), wonder how there's internet around here... well, it seems that there is a lot more things here... i'm very pleased to know that u liked moz... Good luck for Holland on the EURO 2004. They're a great team. And good luck for Portugal of course (my second country). GO CRISTIANO RONALDO>>>

but changin'the subject, i would like to say that i've been playin' fifa since the 95 series, and i've always been very critic about it... i hated particularly FIFA 2003 (the worst series, i think. Me and my friends even returned to old FIFA 2002, made some arrangemnts in the Gameplay, and we were on it). Then I started to play PES and by that time i thought FIFA was going down 4 real.

But well, what can I say about FIFA2004? Being very critic about FIFA, I just have to say that EA have finally got it. The game still has some imperfections, but it is gettin'very realistic indeed and PES now have a serious competitor. And by editing the gameplay by myself, i made it even more realistic. Still, the dribbling has to be improved.... Now looking forward to the Creation Centre...

PS: Hope that in FIFA 2005, EA follows the same line as in 2004. We no longer want games that u can score with ease and the players look more like robots than anything.
