I don't think Russia should be kicked out of the competition. Yes, their player cheated, and all you Russians saying that Wales were playing dirty maybe you should take a more objective critique of your own NT first, you were as dirty if not more dirty. It was a scrappy match and both teams were responsible. Now we find out that one of your players tested positive for drugs, you really were cheating more than us.
However, you won the playoff and therefore you should be in the finals and not Wales. If FIFA had a rule stating that any player testing positve for drugs should be banned immediately, then you should face heavy punishment and possible expulsion from the competition, but I don't think there is a rule like that. In which case no rules were broken.
The Welsh NT should quit whining and get on with preperations for the WC qualifiers. If we were to get in I'd feel as if we didn't deserve it and it would take away any gloss that comes from playing in a major international tournament.
As for England, they didn't play Rio after he missed the drugs test for the very reason that it could give other teams a comeback. Now we see that the FA were wrong to stop him playing, as I felt all along.
And Man Utd. We didn't break any rules.
Before comparing Titov and Rio we should bare in mind that Rio missed a test and Titov has blatently, apparently, used drugs.
