greatest night of my life
so many emotions went through me when grosso hit the winning penalty, the entire penalty shoot-out, cannavaro lifting up the trophy, and my hero del piero got a winners medal and also lift up the trophy, followed by many other hero's like buffon and zambrotta and everyone! tears! like a little boy! GRAZIE GRANDE RAGAZZI! what a dream, and i dont wanna wake up from it! looking at all those pictures and tv is surreal, i can keep looking at it forever.

and cannavaro should definitely win the world cup golden ball... what a capitano and defender... legend! GRAZIE GRAZIE GRAZIE! thank you to all players and LIPPI THE GREAT! he was already a legend, but now... a champions league, and club world championship, and now the biggest of all!! Zidane lost his head and many of the followers of La Liga know Zidane looses his head often especially when his team is losing. I was stranged he did that at a WC final when his team is drawing.

greatest day and greatest moment of my life. i still can't believe it. the eruption when grosso scored the pk was a dream. tears were flowing, especially when cannavaro lifted the cup.

Blimey, Italy won. Well done lads. I've actually grown to like some of your players through this Cup. Pirlo, Cannavaro, Gattusso. Straight up players indeed. I guess Gattusso might be a little hard for some people somtimes, but I would have him in my back four any day. I still cant stand some of the others though...hehehehehee.....Still Congrats on the win. You are only one behind Brazil now huh?

Of course I respect Zidanes career and am grateful for the brilliance that he has shared with us opver the years. He is indeed a legend. Tonight he shocked me. What the hell possessed him? Although his temper has let him down before at times, but this was violent and it was sickening to watch. Of course he will be remembered for his football, but I bet every one of us will remember this outburst for just as long. Sad really to end a career like that.

great match, Rogers Centre was awesome, was on TV and radio and I predicted Italy to win on penalties on both during the 2nd half

I think it's a tragedy for football that a country with such dirty clubs, dirty players, and dirty fans is now the champions of the world. How much of a black eye will it be for the game when half of the champions of the world are relegated for corruption?
Materazzi is a psychopath. How a man like that was even allowed in the World Cup, I will never know. Whatever he said to Zidane, I have no doubt it deserved much more than a headbutt. I hope somebody Haalands him soon.
