What an oustanding display by Argentina playing quite literally the beautiful game. Reminded me of the football Arsenal played in our unbeaten season and I can't offer a higher compliment than that.

BTW IMHO Torres goal > Cambiasso one. The reason? Both the previous pass and the shot were more difficult in the first case. :jap:

This is what the people here need least to hear, amigo, go take some rest!

I'm not even in the mood of cheering against Argentina for the rest of WC. In fact, as of now I would love them join us in Berlin for an earth-shattering South American final*. Congratulations! :sun:

(*...at least Brazilian retrospect in finals vs Argies is very favourable ;))

They have such depth in their squad too which i think is going to favour them, Saviola definently impressed for me and i think played very well from the start, and then take a look at the quality which came on and made a difference as well, Tevez, Messi. Lol was funny because i was watchin with my mum and i kept going on About messi for the entire match too her and she really wanted to see him play, he came on and what a difference he made lol shes not a huge football fan but is in love with the Argies now. Great Performance, pure entertainment.

??? I haven't say anything inappropiate here, just comparing two goals. I've already congratulated argentinians btw ;)

Would have been good if the Serb team turned up at all. They just totally gave up when they conceded today, at least go down fighting ffs

BTW... how exactly have Milosevic, Stankovic and Kezman made successful careers in Europe ??

Is it just me, or was Argentina's second goal better than that of Carlos Alberto's in World Cup '70?

There, I said it.

Oh well good match.

In my opinion Maxi Rodriguez man of the match. However it looked like everybody played pretty good, Abbondanzieri must chill and not goalie kick so fasr even when we are winning 3-0 in the second half but still he got all the balls that were thrown to him.

Tevez and Messi looked like in a hurry to score even though the match was closed. But eh i can't blame them they played good and scored too.:)

Oh well now to wait for Netherlands, i believe they will have a though match against Ivory Coast, regardless the score of this one.
