I'm legitimately worried about Germany. Would be a really sickening way to crash out of the World Cup.

Senior Squad
If Ghana try to go all defensive they'll fail miserably, they're no Serbia and it's not quite their natural game, Australia tried it and were accordingly slaughtered.
Germany need to keep 11 men on the pitch and they shouldn't have too many problems.

We already know how the other group game will pan out, a Serb will handle the ball in the box and give the Socceroos a goal, an Australian then gets himself sent off and bring Serbia back into the game. Realistically, a draw is the best Australia is hoping for, but I expect Serbia will give us a good deal of possession so we should play our best football tonight.

USA will be strong favourites against France's B-team, but if the latter muster a win they'll be replaying that match on Arab TV every single day for the next 4 years.

We'll see. Here in the USA we love to talk **** about stuff we don't know about. All I've heard for the past week is "we're soooooo much better than Algeria; in a totally different class". There's been no respect for Algeria at all, and hopefully that attitude hasn't seeped into the locker room. It happened in 2002 with Poland; same cocky media attitude about how we're sooooo much better than Poland, followed by an absolute drubbing.

looool
I don't understand why do the Serbians love to touch the ball with hand in the box area ?!!!

The Americans ROBBED of a clean goal again! This is getting ridiculous, the conspiracy theories of official corruption against the US team are looking less and less far fetched..

Team Captain
Capello finally realised that replacing Heskey (3 goals in 31 games) by Defoe (18 goals in 34 games) was the correct decision.

This game is not good for my mental health. Is it just me or has Dempsey been utter ****e so far? Donovan and Bradley are carrying the team.

If we're better than Algeria on paper, it's only slightly so. I always knew this was going to be a nail-biter.
