Anyone else find it ironic that the English media are calling Portuguese players thugs, considering that every other day of the year English fans are reminding us of how "tough" the EPL is and how continental players are a bunch of sissy boys..
If it was anyone else complaining about England's rough play, you'd all be calling them a bunch of pussies, and you know it.
btw, just drop the whole holier-than-thou attitude when it comes to play-acting. No country is without it anymore, it's a blight on football as a whole....and no, despite what your media has brainwashed you to beleive, we don't enjoy seeing players dive, no true football fan does. It's a known fact to us that we have some players who have a history of going to ground easier than others, but please, don't act like England is that last honourable nation on Earth.
Anyways, I don't wanna get into this my team is better than your team playground sh!t, I get no satisfaction from putting England down. I grew up watching English football and I have nothing but admiration for Sven Goran (class act btw, who even defended us against your media's unfair onslaught) who I have fond memories of from his days at Benfica.
Let's just hope for a great game. Like I said before, losing to a team of England's stature in the quarters of the WC is not half bad.
