Enough with the racism. He's one striker that tries to stay on his feet more than any other striker in the world despite the treatment he gets from opponents. Puyol should have never swung his arm at Thierry in the first place, but being caught up in the moment, made a bad decision to do it.

does that make it right tho? and i wouldnt say each and every one...but still, people are so quick to judge diving, yet when a favourite player of theirs does it, its suddenly okay, because the rest do it too.
why doesnt FIFA come out with a statement then, diving is OK, part of the game, etc?
what im trying to say, everyone is on a f*cking moral highground when a player from the opposing team dives, and they agree with FIFA's attempt to clamp down on this, yet they turn around like a hooker when a car honks, if its their player that does it. then its part of the game again.

well everyone with a proper working brain is able to judge something objectively, thus everyone should see that diving is part of the game. latin players do it, british players do it, russian players do it etc. you see it in every game, and I don't see how it should stop. football nowadays is big business, everyone's trying to get in the best position possible without thinking about the methods, it's not fair, but it's human. there's no point in bashing players that dive...

well he still got elbowed in the chest, it was a clear free-kick and it was rightly given. he just made a right meal of it.

Yeh, he did, disspointing to see him go to that level, it does seem that there arent to many players these days that dont dive, or exagerate their injuries to help their team. It is a shame the sport has gone down this path.

It be interesting to see an Arsenal vs Barca clash in the CL this season

What Henry did was disgraceful. I remember Rivaldo did something similar during the last WC. Obviously, FIFA aren't reacting strongly enough to this sort of behaviour. I think Henry should be banned from the rest of the tournament for it but that is just one guy's opinion. Such a shame because I have never seen him even dive at Arsenal.
