They played the game they wanted to play and couldn't be stopped! Do we even need Nesta for the Finale? Unbelievable depth within the squad. We also get the extra day of rest over France/Portugal!

Another boring and undeserved win for the dirty Italians.... Ya, f*ck you all.
Wasnt surprised at all with this result. I knew we were a better team, and as long as we played our game we'd get the result. The reffing was even and actually pretty damn good,, so nobody can complain about that. NOBODY can say we dont deserve to be in final. Came from one of the toughest groups, and than beating (and outclassing) the home team who were the favourites entering semi's. The first half was pure jazz, all we lacked was the final touch. After previously not playing well together, Totti and Pirlo were sublime together and seem to have an understanding like theyve been playing together their entire career.
Losing in PK's wouldve been such an undeserved win for Germany. Ballack is overrated, and a c*nt at that. I have no beef with Germans, but I wouldve hated to see Germany win the WC "led" by him. I guess Klose can only score against the Saudi Arabias, Costa Ricas and Ecuadors of the world (ignoring the Argentina game? You know it).
Australia gave us a much tougher challenge.. even if they have a man advantage.
And Zambrotta, Gattuso and Grosso all escaped booking and are available for final.... as well as a certain Daniele De Rossi
Been on this forum for a while, and all i gotta say is that this win was dedicated to all the ppl who've been bitching about Italians/Italian football before and every game.
The ALL WC team will be a criminal if Zambrotta, Gattuso, Pirlo, Buffon and Cannavaro arent in it. Id make a case for Grosso, but Lahm has probably edged him.
We await France, and will get some revenge for 08' and 02'
11 goals for Italy,,,, by 9 different players. Thats a team game folks. 12 if you count Zaccardo's touch of class against US.

I don't think you need revenge from France for 2000, I think you need revenge from Del Piero; he had the title in his hands twice and dropped it with his classic terrible finishing. Not much of a surprise that he only scored today when the game was already decided.
I have a question for Italy, do you think you'll stick with that 4-5-1? Because Toni just doesn't seem like he can work as a lone striker and you guys seemed a little more dangerous when Iaquinta came on and went with the 4-4-2. Can't see De Rossi playing, but maybe they'll use him instead of Perotta who just hasn't shown me anything. I could see a midfield of De Rossi, Totti, Pirlo, and Gattuso/Camoronesi.
