Well it's obvious RUUD IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!! AND HOW
Scores 2 goals in his first match after Euro 2004 damnnnnn what a striker we have in him, the first goal was a bit lucky but he's always on the right spot at the right time but the 2nd one was fantastic, Kuyt played the ball and RvN netted the ball brilliantly.
Sneijder was absolutely awesome today from the first minute till the moment he got subbed by van Bommel. I was at the stadium today and we gave Sneijder a standing ovation and he deserved it today. Saturday he played bad but today was the Sneijder we know from Ajax again just lovely
It's obvious why van Basten refused to take him out of the team and the trust he has in Sneijder and it payed of today.
Kuyt played really well too, he's a great winger and when he gets more experienced he will only become better in the future.
Davids played like a young pittbull, the Finnish offense like Hyppia had his hands full
Another young wingplayer Castelen plays in the selection for a few matches now and he's doing better and better! Pasanen didn't stood a chance against him today.
Finally Heitinga played good again, I hope he continues this form with Ajax this weekend and the same goes for Nigel de Jong.
Today there were 4 Ajaxplayers in the team: Sneijder, vdVaart, de Jong en Heitinga and we have the future goalkeeper of Manchester United van der Sar IMO one of the absolute best in the world!! This guy is so calm and collective and the way he sometimes plays the ball by outplaying a striker of the opponent team is just lovely to watch. He learned to play like that when he started for Ajax in his youth
Oke a few answers for the guys who asked:
Robben is injured but he will be back soon!
Collins John was called a few matches ago and played a few friendlies with the Dutch team and he will be watched closely by van Basten in the future according to him.
The same goes for Kluivert, if he continues to play like this with Newcastle then you can be sure he will be one of the selection real soon, van Basten says he is watching his progress in England.
WE WON!! 3-1 YESSSSSSSSSSSSS MARCO VAN BASTEEEEEEEENN
