I never said I liked FIFA better. In fact, I don't, at least up until 2003. Now, I'm just showing u this stuff because you and a bunch of other WE fans don't like when someone comes along and asks you fans to have konami raise the bar in the level of their new games. I'm just showing u some of the improvements that can still be made...

I never said FIFA is better. BTW, if I play FIFA, and the gameplay still sucks, I'll keep playing WE, but because FIFA has so many other cool stuff, if their gameplay is considerably better this year, I'd have to stop spending my money with Konami who regardless of how good their game is, never seems to convince me that they've been making sufficient changes to their game year by year.

Remember, I started this conversation saying that both games have limitations, but FIFa seems to be doing a much better job than 2003.

Yes, EA makes minor improvements - just for show. They want to have sth to put on the covers. Like BALL SEPARATION FEATURE! Or TOTALLY NEW OFF BALL SYSTEM! CAREER MODE! But after hours of playing you come to a conclusion that it doesn't affect the gameplay at all because of so many irritating flaws.

Is WE7 even in English? If not, then that is why FIFA is the better title, at least for the United States and Europe. Sorry, but if you have to print out translation pages just to play a game, it kind of loses it's fun. No matter how good the graphics are. Give me my FIFA with it's slightly worse graphics and ball control. At least they have the known teams and names. This way I can always try and slide tackle the players I dislike in real life. :)

How the hell is this dumb and ignorant? You didn't even answer the question. IS IT IN ENGLISH? If not, for my personal taste, I would take FIFA over WE7. That is not ignorance, that is personal preference. Dude, sorry I don't know japanese and would rather play my games in the language I know. And I have played games in Japanese, it's just not the same.

Damn, you are too serious about the video games bro.

pes 3 comes out this month in europe.. is winning eleven 7, and yes is fully translated, when it comes to the united states it will be called winning eleven 7 international, and that will happen around february or march

A question for all FIFA fans!!

Do you really play football?. If so, does FIFA really feels like real football?. Or it just looks like one.
if your answer is no, then could you judge the reality of FIFA if you never touched a ball. How could you tell that

I'm not saying that WE7 is only for those who play football, but i'm trying to prove that WE7 really resembles real life football. Only real footballers can see it. The way you shot in mid air, how you would go passed two defenders, how you would head the ball etc. it makes you feel as if you are playing with them. Again, you don’t have to be a footballer in order to enjoy it.

Do you know that thousands of fans are playing WE7 despite it being all in Japanese?
they sure know that they can get FIFA with all its fancy extras and loads of clubs and national teams, not to mention licensing and great graphics. But it's strange to see how they would rather play WE7 with its Japanese and struggle to navigate through menus, than simply getting the fully English FIFA with all the extras. maybe because WE7 is the best footy game around?

FIFA is like a rotten sandwich in a cool nice box, while WE7 is simply the opposite.

I don't think you have to be a footballer to understand WE. I think being a casual fan who's attended a live Premiership match is enough, at least in my case. Having been to a live Premiership match, I saw and felt the passion and tension of the game, how every little detail in the game mattered. Every miss-hit pass, every header lost, every posession given away, it all became nerve-racking. People cheered the little things, such as maintaining posession. The whole 90 minutes was filled with tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. Fans singing until their throats hurt...

That's elite football. And PES/WE delivers that same feeling. As you play, you feel that nervous tension when you lose posession, and you jump up and throw your first in the air when you score, and jump up and throw your controller when your opponent scores. It's that passionate intensity that I believe draws people to WE/PES, and why they can't fathom how someone could play such a lifeless game as FIFA...

I don't have a @#@$ clue what Pes 3 is all about, I played both the demos, and i was tottaly shocked at pes3. It was @$#@!$ in my oppinion. The only thing I could say good about PES3 is the close range shooting. Everything else feels arcadey. YES. ARCADE LIKE. Yeah, I know you call fifa arcade like but its way too fast paced. Fifa you have to build up your offence and pass the ball around and have to work to score. The animations in PES are horrible too. I'm not just talking about the graphics, the way the player dribbles the ball, looks horrible. I came in with in open mind. I always liked fifa but i decided to give pes a chance.
PES compares to a crapload of Camel @##$. Ok its not THAT bad, but i compare it to world tour soccer 2003. ( a real pathetic and humiliating attempt on soccer by 989 sports)

I have read posts about 15 FIFA-fans who decided to buy PES this year, after they finally could see for themselfs how good PES 3 and his predecessors are! :)
So, not all of these guys are so... hmmm.. stubborn :D

I am a fifa fan for almost 10 years!

Last weekend I was one of many who downloaded the PES3 demo.

What I felt after playing my first match was a feeling i haven't felt for a long time after doing so! :D I was so freekin horny after that first match that I played till early next morning!

Fifa could not satisfy me anymore! And yes I have played Fifa 2004 (Demo and X-box version)! But what PES brought me brings a very big smile to my face!

I am amazed by the realism of the gameplay. Sure it's a dissappointment that there are just a few licenses. But in a short period of time there will be many patches and updates for the game and then that issue will be solved!

People, PES :rockman:
