the FM2005 stats are a total joke:

- The best Real Madrid player is Beckham, who have been for 2 years maybe the worst player in Real Madrid line-up
- The worst Real Madrid player in the line-up is Iker Casillas who have been the best player of this season for Real Madrid.

I can't believe the database is so fuc*ed up...
What the hell the researchers are doing there with fm2005?

I was researcher til last year of "real" CM,
I can't believe people can spoil ratings this way...

Clearly if fm2005 database is wrong...
even the most perfect conversion tool can't make it right.

I didn't yet try this database,
but WEndetta database made from scratch without fm2005 stats to me is the best!

well you follow the screen instructions and nothing happens. no new menu music, no new flags and no nothing. except you get the team names right but the team flags are the old ones still. obviously me and my friend are doing something wrong but don't know what!
so please help us whoever knows about this stuff

fm2005 stats totally ruin the game. i was master league and was in need of a good free kick taker. i had lots of money so i thought maybe i should buy beckham. oh wait, his free kick stats were worse than d'alessandro's. what kind of bull**** is that

I got a question? since I have install the new wolf patch, they are now 2 winning eleven 8 files in my add and remove program, both files are around 900mb should I delete one of them or not.also when I play online I dont see the real names of the clubs, like arsenal is still call north london, but the logo's and real names are all there is this how it is to be online, because offline everything looks great with all the updates.

i have to admit that some of the fm 2005 stats are inaccurate.
but of coz its not wolf's fault.
just that maybe there isn't a perfect conversion yet.

i guess i'll go back to wendetta's we8i patch for now.

wait hold up guys, i test for Sports Interactive, and im not having you guys start abusing the statistics that the SI guys have to put together for Football Manager, its not on. They have hundreds of scouts analysing thousands of players, at the START of this season; Cech was relativley unkown, infact; the only way people knew him a few years ago was THROUGH CM, hence why his stats arent terribly amazing on FM.

What other bad examples are there? Or are you all just moaning cos you no longer have superstar unrealistic PES/WE players?

Not sure why, but when I downloaded this latest patch, it appears to have the full Konami WE8I installer....why is this?

Do I need to uninstall myWE8I and run your installer or just install over the top? Does it matter that I have your 2005 evolution patch already installed?

Seems very different to the previous versions of patches you have released and I would just like to make sure I am doing the right thing here.....

yeah im really confused too, i know you've said that the readme explains everything. But is this the full game? or do i just copy the save folder over something?

like i say im very confused, i seemingly have a folder that has autorun/setup/program files etc. Like it is the actual game..

I am surprised Wolf spends his time making patches when all these ungratefull retards do nothing but whine about the stats.

WOLF DIDNT MAKE THE STATS.

He used a conversion tool, understand?..how else can he make over 600 new players without using these stats?..think about it. And having those 66 with FM stats and the rest without is stupid to say the least.

Its very simple, if you dont like the stats why dont you make your own option file as good as Wolfs and post for us all to download?..or better yet, dont use the friggin option file if you dont like it.

The patch just aint about the stats, its about everything else, so if you use another option file with your AMAZING stats, it aint gonna matter much is it?

Maybe instead of crying because Casillas's GK skills is 89 instead of 93, maybe learn to say thanks?..

Plus it aint the hardest thing in the world to do, so why dont you stop being lazy and change the stats yourself?..if you aint happy with the patch dont download it, simple as that.

Then copy the folder 1 folder into your save folder, and thats it.

Ok why isn't this in the installation instructions then? It only says choose English to install the game and then copy and paste the save folder. That's all it says. It doesn't say anything about AFS Explorer. What does importing para_we8.bin do anyway?
And also did u have the game doubled in the Add and Remove programs like it happened to us?

dont wanna be nasty in any way here, but why does WE8i now run really slowly for me during matches? it is really stuttery and to be honest its hurting my eyes lol

ok, must have been because i had Firefox open, works fine now.

Great patch, but one question:

Ive edited a few of the players in the option file edit thing, and when i go to a match all my changes have worked. But why when i start a master league are all the changes gone again?

e.g. i put Gerrards passing power up to 95, and on match/training it was 95, but on master league it had gone back down to 86 i think. I can understand it for younger players, but why do that to older players who cant improve?

Works both ways I think. The setup.exe installs the whole game, but if you already have it installed, you might as well just copy the .afs files, opmov and the option file over and it should work — atleast it works for me.
