Guys, take a look at the original Konami stats for players. You've got reserve players for FC Metz or Alkmaar who are as good as half the Liverpool or Man Utd starting squad. Konami bumped up the stats of 75% of players to ensure that you could win games and cups with pretty much any team.

The SI stats annoy some people because they've favourite player isn't the best player in the owrld in the game. Look at the complaints so far, we've got one guy who thinks Beckham is by far the worst player at Real Madrid - not too subjective and biased there then! - and another guy who thinks a free kick value of 98 isn't high enough for Beckham's free kicks.

Guys, you can use whatever option file you want with the patch if the SI stats disgust you so much. Personally I think they're the most accurate ones so far and if you look at Pubbs conversion thread and formula they make sense.

It's sad that the most vocal people every time a patch is released (or a new version of the actual game is released) are those who moan and have nothing good to say.

i agree, but can you help me how come the master league stats dont correspond to the others? (as said above). I mean players like Gerrard who wont improve much on mine still go from 95 passing in match mode to 86 in ML, which is totally unrealistic

any ideas how i can get around this?

i dled the patch and beckhams freekick accuracy was certainly not 98. it was 90 and his curling wasnt even in the 90s.

Ok. I'm just interested in the option file, but having problems installing. When I try to import the para_we8.bin it says

"There is no room for this file! YOu must rebuild function to reserve more space"

When I say yes. It says

"Couldn't reinsert AFS. Make sure its not write protected or there is space left".

I checked both and there is space and its not write protected.'

I try to just move the option file but there is a problem when I try to play Master league with a create team option. It has the old players names but they have great stats and LARGE salaries. WHat is going? Please help me as am a beginner. Thx.

BTW I just installed the Italian patch just the other day.

by the way i had no idea how to put that file in, i dont know what AFS explorer is. But it still works for some reason..

You will have to start a new ML campaign unfortunately because it takes a snapshop of the stats that you had when you first started the league so even if you install a new option file, it keeps the old stats you had at the start of the campaign.

yeah i gathered that, but im pretty sure when i tried a new game it was still doing it, no matter.

I don't know if this was directed at my post, but I did start a new ML. The thing is it had the original default players with fake names, but there salaries were like 1000+ and they had good stats. I try to delete the whole save directory and use the one that came with your patch.

If you want to import Wolf OptionFile in your previous 0_text.afs,
if AFS Explorer gives you problems... (but it shouldn't..)
well use DKZ Studio (LINK)
that is very easy to use.

When you insert new OptionFile, always remember to create new ML

Now I go to install&play Wolf Patch

Eheh for me no problems,
in the last Wolf Patch I created by myself CSKA and Zenith Sankt-Peterburg
instead of Leeds and Fenerbache

I have to find a way to copy with hexeditor from my old OptionFile to this new one...both teams hoping to make it work

Pity EditPES4OptionFile can't export to excel or simil format the data..
so that replacing players from different option files would be easy.

I got a question? since I have install the new wolf patch, they are now 2 winning eleven 8 files in my add and remove program, both files are around 900mb should I delete one of them or not.also when I play online I dont see the real names of the clubs, like arsenal is still call north london, but the logo's and real names are all there is this how it is to be online, because offline everything looks great with all the updates.

ok can someone explain to me why this is happening, i have started a new ML game with 'Match Mode Players', i have checked on training/match mode that Gerrard's passing speed is 97 (which i have edited as i think its slightly more realistic)

yet when i go to the master league, he has got 87 passing speed.. now i can understand it doing it with younger players, but its done exactly the same with Carragher etc.

Can someone please tell me how i can actually get the stats i want INTO the ML.

You have to put para_we8.bin into 0_text.afs using AFS Explorer.
