According to the commentators the championship is the 4th most watched league in the World ahead of Serie A (H)

Well chuffed for Derby (Steve Howard boyhood Toon fan)

Not surprised if it's miles ahead of Serie A (no really, championship football is entertaining). But 4th most watched league in the world? Holy f*ck! :O

That's really the argument you're going for? The 6 extra horrible Championship sides are why it's watched more? Not because Serie A is boring and every game ends 1-0. Oh, and all the games are fixed.

in fact, serie a matches have much more goals than most other leagues, especially france, portugal... i think even more than championship.

I'll remember that day for ever I think:

Saturday of matchday 32:

Bordeaux 0-0 Paris-SG
Nantes 0-0 Lens
Toulouse 2-0 Auxerre
Lille 2-0 Sochaux
Valenciennes 0-0 Marseille
Le Mans 0-0 Rennes
Lorient 0-0 Monaco
Troyes 0-0 Nancy

hehe :D

Before everyone gets into a pissing match over which league has the most goals, I averaged out the number of goals per match in the 7 most important top flights in Europe and the Championship (I did not include the playoffs featured in the Eredivisie and the Championship).

Netherlands: 2.99
Germany 2.72
England (Championship): 2.60
Italy: 2.52
England (Premier League): 2.45
Spain: 2.43 (after 36 rounds)
Portugal: 2.30
France: 2.25

^^ Respect the Serie A, mother****ers!

Got the numbers for the Dutch second division, bro? 'Cause that's where it's at.....I swear, they average like a touchdown worth of goals per game in that league.

Their concept of defence over there is pure offense.......*In a thick Dutch accent*...."How can they score on us if the ball is always in the back of their net?"

Help?

Nah, that's a suggestion

It's not the amount of goals scored. It's the incredibly boring style of play and almost-dead atmosphere that makes Serie A so unwatchable.. Roma and Inter are perhaps the only two sides with an attempt to deviate from that negative style of football..
