First thing that comes to mind was Holland's demolition of Yugoslavia during EC2000. We beat them 6-1 and we're playing the best football ever, that was total football in every aspect of the term. And Yugoslavia was a good side back then. We totally owned them, it's still a shame that we didn't cap it all by winning the tournament.

Oh man, was that football.........the commentators kept saying this reminds them of the '74 team, but what was even more memorable for me was Zenden completely embarassing Zambrotta in the match between Holland and Italy.
Zambrotta was killed , but man has he improved, he's one of the top ten midfielders in the world for me, the guy can play both flanks of midfield and defence.................yuh gotta love that...

1st match i ever saw! Saints losing 1-0 at the dell... 87th minute matt le tissier wins a penalty and converts it himself.

1-1

92nd minute, last kick of the game. Le tissier takes the ball 40 yards forward, edge of the box and chips the keeper. 1st match i ever saw, it was 1992 and i've been a saint ever since. i think it was nottingham forest we beat... tho not too sure.

Fernandez

Team Captain
Tottenham v Manchester United 3-5 (probably the best ever comeback game in a match)
Manchester United v Newcastle United 5-3 (the best ever high-scoring game between the two sides with shearer scoring his 100th goal for newcastle.... and a match without g.neville, becks, keano, butt, ferdinand...)
Newcastle United v Manchester United 2-6 (the most one-sided comeback)

the best game while i was in the staduim is Aberdeen 3-2 Celtic. I think they missed 2 pens aswell! (H)

on tv, no question, Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle (the original!)
