No, the best freekick takers don't score 1 goal from the FK a season. If a guy scores the best goal of the year, does it make him the best player of the year?

No, he doesn't only score from the left site, he also scores from straight in front of the goal or the right side.
To say the goals scored in Holland are easier is nonsense.
The keepers in Holland are from the same level as in the EPL and the walls aren't important, as the ball goes OVER the wall

Ofcoarse Pierre scores more from freekick but there is no way that the keepers in Holland are the same level as in England. How many well-known players play in Holland? I only know well-known players from PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord. This are the 3 teams that have the only chance to win the Eredivise, the rest is not good enough to get to CL. England progressed there more and has more teams. Why do you think Pierre would want to go to a mid-table english team, that only has a chance to try and get to UEFA Cup, instead of staying with Feyenoord and trying to get to CL? Because EPL is more popular, better known players play there, more people watch it and because it's a higher level. So Beckham is better FK shooter, but only by a bit.

I'm an italian, and i still think Carlos is a absolutly **** free kick taker, it's pure luck when he slots one in, you make him sound like the second coming of christ.

and looking through your comments, i personally love english football, why? because it's exciting 9 times outta 10, you have some of the best clubs in the world, but in saying that, The best national team in the world i personally think are the Dutch, they are so fun to watch, and have such skill, Brazil are cheats, divers, piss takers, whatever you want to call them, they are the reason i did not watch the WC final this past summer.

Oh, and If The Referee did not screw the might Italians, we would have won the WC Forza Italia!

That's like calling all English players cheats/divers/etc because Rooney fakes the falls.... Almost all of the Brazilian national team are great players that are also very honest... but a few give the rest a bad name (cough rivaldo cough)

But the keepers are playing on the higher level, so it's harder to score in EPL.

I am also talking about FK and not just open plays. England keepers can save some FK that go to the top corners, while Holland doesn't have many keepers who could do that.

But Italian football is horrible to watch, it's too defensive! the CL final proved that once again
and Brasil IS the best national team (unfortunately u can't deny it), we're 5 times WC winners. most of the Brazilian players are the best of the world (Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Zé Roberto, Cafu, Lúcio, Dida, Emerson, Rivaldo and so many others...)

I haven't evaluated every keeper in Holland but i know that when one league is of a higher level than the other, then definetly the keepers will be of a higher level than the others. But how about say that Beckham and Pierre are the same for now and hopefully wait until Pierre goes to england (hopefully this summer) and then we can decide whon is better? I think that would be the only way to prove than who is better.





And about Brazil, i do actually think that they are the best football country in the world. If they weren't the best, then how did they win 5 world cups and have quilified for every single one of them? Brazil may have some cheaters and divers but who doesn't dive? Everybody does dive to get their team a win and that is sad to see . But saying that Carlos is the best FK taker, is really stupid. Brazil is the best country but Carlos is not the best FK taker.

Aye, our 3 World Cups make us jealous..... To be honest, that post shows me how ignorant you are, Italian football may be boring to you, not to me, the Cl final was far from boring, it had so much Drama, you couldnt help but get swept up in it.

And again, i state, i enjoy watching Holland, Ireland ( They play fabulous football), Italy, England, France and Portugal, before i would sit down to a brazil match.

It's just my opinion, i think Brazilian football is rubbish and over-rated.
