Carlos...that guy looks the fastest...only because in order to run, he looks like he tries the hardest.
Henry, is just so relaxed, and fluid, that it doesn't seem too fast...but it is the fastest, laziest, stride in the game...

When it comes to speed is it speed with the ball or speed without the ball. There are a lot of players who are fast, but as soon as they get the ball they slow right down.
The small players have fast acceleration. But the taller players are often faster. Owen will easily from a dead start get past most players, but can be caught. How many times have you seen Owen take on people compared to Henry. As soon as Henry gets the ball the opposition crap themselves. To me he is the most attacking forward in the game.
Look at the 100 meters. The smaller players are often the first ones of the block , but as soon as you get to the 30 meter mark the taller runners run past them.
Henry to me is the taller and faster player, plus he is strong on the ball. The smaller players can easily be barged off the ball.
Overmard, Owen, Savio faster acceleration.
Henry, Anelka faster over the longer distance.

Babangida is the fastest in the game, Rommedahl is the fastest in real life, Henry has the control and is fastest with the ball. Owen has good acceleration and a good change of direction. Kieron Dyer is no way that fast, I even doubt if he is faster than Bellamy in the Newcastle squad.

I watched inter against barca, cordoba the columbian defender flew past overmarrs and gave him hell, he was easily quicker.
I think off the mark pace it has to go to roberto carlos, he is so quick off the mark. but i think the fastest player is henry easily, he shifts up to gears that most people can only dream of reaching, cisse is quick, not quite as quick as henry,
whover said dyer must be dreaming, hes quite quick of the mark , like owen but he seems to burn himself out too easily. and robbie keane?? hes not even in the top ten. shevchenkos quick without the ball at his feet, he runs like a terminator though.
and rommedahl, no way when arsenal played psv last season, rommedahl botted the ball up the right wing and tryed running onto it, henry who was yards behind him caught him up in no time and put the ball out. ronaldo is still one of the quickest.
