Why are you lot talking about Kanye, the guy cannot rap very well, i dont like his flow and all the songs that amazing he needed someone else on it or used a sample e.g never let me down. He is an amazing producer and college dropout is one of the best, but better than dre? hmm no.

Immortal technique is a lyricist and i love a few of his songs one (remix), caught in a hustle, you never know and harlem streets but the rest are too hard to listen to.

The game (i know you all were waiting for me to mention dis guy) he is still one of the best mainstream rapopers out there next to dmx and mobb deep. Doctor's advocate drops june 6th and i guarantee it will go 4 times platinum and this time 50 cannot take any credit, although Dre's influence will be huge as he is god.

I think the last posts about Kanye has been around his producing skills, and not his rapping skills. But I also think he's a decent rapper. Besides, one of his best songs, "Through the Wire", hasn't got guest rappers. And the samples he uses are part of his style, so you can't really criticize him for it.

You realize that Dre can't rap either right? Snoop is on The Chronic more than Dre. And 2001 is full of guest appearances.

1) Kanye is a producer first and a rapper a distant second, and noone is saying the opposite.

2) FWIW i reckon Kanye's lyrics are better than:

bla bla bla Dre
bla bla bla coma
bla bla bla Biggie and Pac
bla bla bla NWA
bla bla bla 50 Cent
bla bla bla
G-G-G-G UNIT....
oh wait no i hate them
**** you Yayo

Doctor's Apprentice better be good because game hasn't proven much as a mainstream artist yet.
