im sorry but no:P

Fifa is not Worse that PES

to me its the whole game, the whole pakcage,
i want to pay 50 bucks for a game that deserves it, i dont want JUST game play, i want a good enough of everything.

wether u believe it or notm That game for me is Fifa. ( dont start with that u havenet playd pes **** cus i have :P ever since the 1st pes )

i Like PES too so dont get me wrong, but i simply Prefer Fifa
Fifa 2004 that is, forget about the past, its whats right here right now in front of us, and fifa to me is the beter overall Product

How much does a PES game Cost? same as a Fifa game, in PES all u get is Gameplay
in Fifa u get vastly Improved Gameplay from any other fifa, all the teams Kits license graphics ect ect ect, career mode and all that goos stuff, Fifa is worth the 50 bucks

and PES is ripping u off for just Gameplay

That Being said, i play both, and enjoy both :P
but ive been playing fifa way more often that i have PES3

I've been playing FIFA games for many years, each year I'm hoping the next version will be better. The 'realism' in the faces and stadiums are fine, but every year, we've been yearning for much better gameplay. I mean, after years of development, EA released Fifa 2003 last year and we all found out that we couldn't head the ball in open play. What crap.

I've played Winning 11 at a friend's place an have always waited for Konami to release a PC version. I'm glad they finally are doing it and I have no hesitation to switch to PES 3 moving forward.

FIFA games are pretty but PES 3 is for the serious football fan. I guess FIFA fans are like all the former Man U fans who are now Real Madrid fans - going more for the form than the substance.

Im from Canada (btw Im new hI to all ppl) and I played the very first fifa on the snes in 1993

And yes Fifa started to get really crappy after 98 (World Cup 98 best Fifa played it like for 3years)

Just played the last Fifa today rent it . Not bad but not as good as
WE6FE (haventn played 7 yet)

You just dont get that feeling of a real soccer (football) game
SOmetimes looks more like ping pong with perfect passes without
even controlling the ball and unrealistic shoots.

Anyways I would say WE is for real football fans who apreciated it for what it is THE BEAUTIFUL GAME. Fifa is more for people who get excited with all the noise and all the flashy stuff (kits real faces (that dont even look that good at least on the ps2) etc)
And I think Fifa fans that have really played pes or WE and still prefer fifa ARE NOT real football fans. At least they dont appreciate the sport for its REAL beauty but for some other reason ? You tell me.

But my choice by far is WE for reproducing the best THE SPORT OF FOOTBALL which I cant get enough of

PES 3 not only has better gameplay than FIFA 2004. It has better graphics actually. Again, real kits and sponsor are patchable. Graphics include player models, animations, etc. These are much more realistic in PES 3 than in FIFA 2004. Moreover, the faces (especially the skins) in FIFA 2004 look like zombies from Resident Evil (or Bio Hazard). Just look at some screenshots of some edited PES kits. You will defintiely find that PES 3 actually has better graphics than FIFA 2004.

And in my opinion, it is definitely not worth to pay 50 bucks to buy a game that put all real licensed team playing in the same way. (i.e. FIFA)

Making better AI and better gameplay, and making teams and players playing in their own way require much much more efforts than making real kits and making hundreds of teams playing in the same way.

FIFA 2004 is really improved though, with something new ideas like OTB. However, the only thing that FIFA 2004 beats PES 3 is the license.

PES 3 is the one that worths us to pay.

You'll see... Give the FIFA-whores a month to recover and they'll start bitchin' to EA about how incomplete the game is. It always works this way.. Have been part of it since 2000 till 2003.. It was the last straw for me though, 2003..

ok, fifa fan here.. but

First off, I have only ever played FIFA Soccer games or football games, whatever...

I dont know anything about any of the other games as they arent available to the xbox.

I did go to PES3 website and watched the trailer for the game. That does look amazing. Is there a demo or any downloads of for PES3 ? I would honeslty like to try it out... see what the fuss is all about...

FIFA is still ten years off the gameplay of ISS 98! You can have all the licenses in the world but shyte gameplay means little replay value.

the only thing fifa is great is the teams licenses, but the only thing that is interesting in a football game is the gameplay, and pes3 have it all.
The graphics in pes3 are very good, the sound in the stadiums recreates well it atmospheres, the master league doesn't have a end, unlike the 5 years career mode in fifa.
pes3 also have the edit mode, wich allows you to change players names and kits.
And this year, Konami ( THANK YOU ) included 3 portuguese teams, Porto, Sporting e Benfica.

Is the master league any good though, because the career mode in FIFA isn't so great, but at least it has a transfer system now.

Fifa has a updated market value for players, but in Pes3 you can only purchase or sell players during the seasons breaks, during winter and summer, like real football management.
But for me it doesn't matter knowing how much a Real Madrid player earns a month/year. I'm sure they earn more than me. I'm also sure that they can earn just as I earn in a year, just by sleeping. :clapwap: :clapwap:
