Most of your stuff their is biased. Anyways, I'm cheering for them after Germany, England, and Canada (who still can't qualify). I think that you guys forgot that Denmark won Euro 92 and some people say that the European Championships has better quality teams then the World Cup. Sweden is a thorough side and if they can improve their domestic league then they can compete even better then the can now. They probably won't get to the final next year but 2010 is realistic.

I really like Sweden and they have a fantastic soccer history. They also have some world class players like Ljungberg and Ibrahimovic and lesser known players like Svenson who are fantastic. The odds are certainly not in their favor, but it is absolutely possible.

I really don't think that any team from Asia like Korea will be winning the World Cup any time soon. I'm saying this based on the mentality of Asian people which I see since I live in a multicultural Canadian city. Heck, parts of my family are from Pakistan. People in Asia aren't exactly Sportfreunde (Friends of sport). They only like one sport, whether it's cricket or soccer. They're not intrested enough in sports and I noticed that all the Oriental Asian kids I see in Windsor are math nerds who hate sports. I don't mean to offend Asian people by saying this (I do have some Asian blood like I said before) but that's just how it is right now.

agreed. but i have to say that canadians don't know **** about soccer, since they only enjoy hockey. so i suggest you not post on this board and go visit a hockey site. also, canadians are dumb and very naive. it's true! i'm not trying to be racist.

oh, btw don't get me started on paki's. you're paki right? how do you like driving cabs? fun?
