At this very moment they read what I am writing.....but still, coudn't care less about what you think about me....well what I intended to say was, that I really don't understand what people that so obviously love ISS, WE and PES still hang around in a Fifa forum for???? I said it before, maybe it's me that is dumb, but I don't understand it!!! If you don't like the game, then why do you hang around here?

You'll find that most of us at some stage played and owned FIFA (most of us probably even FIFA 2003) in the past and as we paid our money for the crap we have a right to voice our opinion. This thread started off with a guy reviewing WE6 and criticizing it. Didn't see you appear then and say it was the wrong forum. The only time you appeared was when FIFA 2003 was criticized.

Let's face it, if you don't like one or two threads of criticism on the forum then don't read them. I've said it before, this is a 'free speech' forum so we can talk about whatever aspect of FIFA we want, whether it be positive or negative and occasionally people are gonna reference it's shortcomings with other games for analysis. Don't like it? Tough.

Go masturbate over the Beckham hair and face threads and come back when you're less frustrated.

You guys kill me. Watching this forum is like spending a day at the zoo watching the monkeys. I'm not sure if the "Wolf" would be the ring leader or the poor chimp sitting on the other end of the rope with no friends. It must really suck to have the pick the bugs out of your own fur. Maybe someone with more insight into this forum could shed a little more light on that topic.

??

We've exposed yet another fibber, if you really did have the game, you would no doubt use actual facts and evidence to substantiate your claims. Since you haven't played the game, you're coming back with childish insults.

But do you really KNOW how to play the game...?

Ring leader? I am flattered.

Maybe you should cool down buddy.....free speech doesn't give you the right to insult people! Telling me to go and masturbate is something that really pisses me off! Still...you are right! This is the wrong forum for comments on ISS, PES and WE.....I'm sorry I didn't mention that before....I say it now....wrong forum. I just got caught from all the statements against this guy before I posted that it was the wrong forum and actually forgot it....:crazyboy: But that doesn't place me in the cathegory of people you just mentioned.....In fact I'm not a graphics fan, and NOT a Fifa die hard fan! I apreciate the game I have on my hands and compare it with what I can compare it with, as I only own a pc...it can only be it's predecessors....! I would like to try your beloved WE and ISS, or PES, but for some kind of a reason, I don't feel like throwing out all of my money for a 4 years old console just to get 1 game! As soon as it will be available for pc, I'll buy it....but until then I must live with what I have...Fifa 2003, and I actually live well with it....I am pretty satisfied with the game, but then again, I can't compare it with your game, so....don't blame me or insult me, if I like Fifa......and as you, I have all the right in the world to state my opinion:rolleyes: So choose between being a nice reasonable guy and show a bit intelligence, or be the tough smartass teenager who tells evrybody to go and "masturbate" over backs hair and face:rolleyes:

I think a lot of us have the right to comment on the game!!! Ive spent almost £200 on fifa games so I would like to know that my money is being used to improve the game, but I have yet to see too much of an improvement.
Its like saying to a footie fan who doesnt like the way his team plays to stop watching them.
I think Fifa was a great game, about 5 years ago, but since then Ive seen very few improvements, so what are these guys getting paid to do??

You can't say that Chris!!! For God's sake the game HAS improved!! This year a major reform was applied!! How can you say such things? That you still don't like it, dosn't mean the game hasn't improved! From 2000 to 2001, the entering of the power bar! GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!! From 2001-2002, A LOT of improvements!!! Form 2002-2003? Well a revolution! The ball isn't attatched to the player's foot anymore, just to mention 1....I know that the game needs improvement, and I know you will say: why is Konami then ages ahead, and actually got it right straight from the star? Well, surely you're right about this...I can't know it, because I haven't tryed out the various other footie games around, but as soon as I will be able to do it, I will! I don't say Konami games are ****, or anything like that, I say that Fifa needs improvement, but that I have seen quite an evolution through the years, and I think the game this year has a number of improvements, and plays way better than previous versions...even if the heading and the "airplay" are quite automatic, and there are some serious flows

Ok, here is the gameplay improvements I have seen in Fifa since 1998.

1. Slowed down a little bit
2. Power up bar (Konami had that way before Fifa)
3. Passing has become more realistic (biggest improvement)
4. Fifa is now less reliant on skill moves.
5. Ball isnt attached to foot ( didnt effect the game as much as it should, If the ball isnt attached to a player then why cant I just run into the ball and win it without pressing a tackle button??

Things that should have been done by now

1. EA should look at netting, you know that stuff they hang off the goal posts to stop the ball, well its flexible and doesnt stop the ball like a wall.
2. Goalies should react like in real life, a person can possibly know where the ball is going as soon as it hit.
3. Tackling should be more unpredictable and more tackling anims should be added.
4. Players should actually use their favoured foot, like I notice Beckham using left foot a lot.
5. Shots should have to be timed better depening on position of player compared to the ball and net.
6. Shooting Animations should be a lot better, and there should be a lot more for different types of shots.
7. More management options.
8. A real career mode with players getting older and changing with youth players etc.

I think Ill stop there, I could go on for hours but what effect would it have??

1. Merely a graphical issue.....I bet the much debated PES hasn't that accurate nets either!
2. I don't see your point here....i think they do react well...again, I have nothing to compare with, so.....
3. Again graphical issues, ands what do you mean by unpredictable tacklings???
4. Yes, but do you call this a gameplay flaw? Be serious!
5. What's wrong with the timing we have now? Excuse me...I have nothing to compare with, but as far as I see, players do touch the ball when they shoot...if that's what you mean....
6. I only know two types of shots....hard ones and precise ones...and again, I don't see how shooting animations could affect gameplay....graphical issue....
7. I agree fully here!
8. Impossible to implement in a game like Fifa! What you aske for is a CM 4 engine built in Fifa...but if they did that, how would they sell CM?

What I think they should improve is airplay....maybe what you ment with shooting animations was hitting the ball at different altitudes from the grass, or the ability to shoot on a rebound...I agree there...that would affect the gameplay
More skill moves should be added, and especially, the possibility to control wich ones to pull off when....the heading is somehow totally to remake....

I think it's interesting that all of you people who bash the Winning Eleven Series seem to have never PLAYED any of the games, whereas all of the people who are hard on FIFA have practically played them ALL. And really, how can you be a real football fan and not appreciate being able to skin the pants off slowass Blanc with Roberto Carlos in a videogame that looks feels and plays like the real thing, and then ooh and ahh when Joe Blow does some random freestyle thingy in FIFA 2003 and makes Nesta look like Wes Brown of two years ago?

If you REALLY love FIFA, find a Super Nintendo and get FIFA'96. Can't be beat. Great end to end football.:mrpimp:

A lot of things graphical effect the gameplay, especially animations, because they mak the game act realistic. The netting animation really ruins the goals because you dont get that special feeling.
B unpredictabl tackles I mean that if you tackle a player you shouldnt win the ball every time, and the ball should roll off in different directions and more battles should be made to win the ball instead of just 1 tackle.
When I say timing on shooting I mean that you should have to press the button at the right time the get a good shot, for example if the ball is too far away and your player has to stretch he cant possibly hit a perfect shot. Its the same with headers, if the ball is too high for the player he wont be able to head the ball down on target.

Hey Del Piero, i think u should try PES2 on your PC. U can get a psx emulator and then play the ps game on PC. If you have a nice video card, the graphics are pretty nice too. Email this guy and ask him for the info...

[email protected].

After you play the game, even if it's a playstation 1 version, u'll know what we're all about
