I´ve just been playing WE9 in a friend´s PS2.

If i have to describe this game with few words i would say REAL FOOTBALL. So people who like to grab a football game and have 1 ocassion every 15 seconds, and end up with a 5-4 or so, can forget about this one.

Most part of the time, the match takes place in the midfield; its hard to find spaces, and clear shoot positions; just like in real life. So develop an inteligent football (attack by the wings, make the field widder with long balls) is a MUST.

I just love it, but can understand that many people dislike it, as it takes time to master. Its a game for true football fans.

Mmmm for being sincere, I concentrate my efforts in playing... But for what I see in some corners and free kicks, Beckham stats are a little lower.

But i played a patched version, so i dont know if the stats have been touched.

Guys, i didnt play the game yet, but i wanna know if all those changes what you guys wrote dont ruin the 'fun part' in the game? I love all football games im a footballfan (and a real fan ;P) im just curious cus im getting this game for sure...But im afraid that if closes too much to realism it wont be that much fun as the previous WE games!

Plz give me an answer ;) thnx

Man, im lovin this game.... its HARDER than ever to score...... reminds me of the hard times i had with WE6....

I was playing on 6 stars yesterday with brazil doing the south american cup

Brazil-1 Mexico-0
Brazil-5 Paraguy-2
Brazil-1 Chile- 0

I made it to the final and left some half tired players in there that i regret now.... Argentina took control really early in the game..... i went out on all attack and paid the price because of there great counter attacking lost in the freakin final 4-1 :kader:

gonna try later today again with a weaker team......

ps- to those playing the game if you play on 15 min you will find the game better as it gives u more chances, less panic, and you can even check to see who u need to sub out better.......

I respect your decision aqua, but we are just asking you to tell us what you don't like about the game, or you just don't want to tell us because you didn't play the game or because you don't know what you want in a soccer game, anyway if you don't want to tell us why you don't like the game, then I respect your decision.

How is the movement of the controlled players btw (not the speed)??Cause in PES4 it's really sh!t and unrealistic as hell.Some times in fact they seem to slide (in an unrealistic way,it seems like a bug mostly) while they're running.Is it still there??Generally PES3 had better player movement IMO than PES4.How is WE9 compared to these two?

Also in PES4 when you're chasing a free ball you CAN'T control the entire movement of your player whereas in PES3 you can.Let me give you an example.You chase a free ball and there is an opponent closer to the ball.In PES3 you can control the player and move your player in a position where you think the opponent will go after he takes the ball.In PES4 however your player goes straight to the ball,without letting you control him.Even the cancel combo sometimes doesn't work for this "bug".So how about now WE9?

Ok, now I know that there is a search button, but it's not easy to find what I want, so here are a couple of questions about WE 9. Did they fix that problem, where there are like two Ballack's, or two Makaay's? That was the problem in WE 8 because they had Ballack in Bayern, and then they had him in Germany as well, and when I played ML, it would be annoying to see him play for my team and another one like Madrid, Juve, etc. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you had duplicate players in your option file for WE8...
