This thread is humourous. This post was made five months before the WC even happened. How did danger zone know Senegal would finish up as quarter finalists you blind fool? I agree with him. How many people would have thought Turkey would end up 3rd before it happened? On paper that group was bad. You people need to read closer before you blindly insult this fellow. thats a good idea man.we could move there but continue to live where we are and visit antartica every 6 months. if anyone asks well just say we were on "vacation" i like your idea man. and we get auto qualification that would be amazing man.

IMO the world cup is call the WORLD cup for a reason: so teams all around the world can play and compete for the WORLD championship. SO how can you exclude teams from Africa and Asia? Plus there's always upsets goin on which makes the world cup much funner to watch. It was nice to see some underdogs like Korea, Turkey, Senegal and USA make it far, and teams like Argentina and France falling early. Makes the cup funner to watch.

The world cup is based on the idea that the best teams from every corner of the world should go to the world cup. Now that is in a perfect world. Back to reality, the way FIFA get teams to the world cup, is great and should not change.

Now, my OFC brothers (Austrialians especially) will disagree with me. That is a topic for a different thread tho.

The rest of the world is catching up with europe and s.america. Just look at the world cup we watched...upset gallore. What happened to France? Group of Senegal, Uruguay and Denmark too tough for them? (the European champions by the way) Oh and Argentina? They beat Nigeria 1-0 (a young Nigeria I might add, the youngest team in the WC) and you don't want to see african teams in the WC? How about the Italians? Couldn't beat S. Korea, but you don't think Asian teams should be in the WC? And if you say that S.Korea had home field advantage, I would promptly point out to you that european teams don't win WC on non-european soil. Face it the rest of the world is raising the level of the their game. This is evident by the numbers that leave their countries to play in europe. It will not be long when all those players are old and become sports ministers in their countries and try to establish respectable leagues of their own. FIFA was founded on the backs of 7 European countries, so Europe will always be the headquarters of football. But football is played around the world so when it comes to world cups, the world participates.

The world cup starts 3 years before the actual event with 200+ teams in it, what we get to see is the 32 nations that play amongst themselves. So respect the game football and respect the nations that play it.
