To all the guys laughing at the US, just be thankful we DO have a country that plays multiple pro sports on a HUGE level, and no matter how you try and come back to this and slice it, you won't change the fact that our biggest, strongest, fastest, highest leaping, most skilled, etc, etc, athletes will always play American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, boxing, etc, its a $$ thing...thats just a fact - look what happens in the Olympics WHEN we DO send our best athletes...we kick your asses in nearly everything (with an ocassional exception) but especially the guys from the smaller countries talking smack NOW. Look at some of the guys playing for the US today - 5'8" @148#, 5'7"@160#, 5'6"@142#, etc...gimmie a break!! These are just "good" athletes that WERE NOT BIG ENOUGH or good enough to play our premier sports, so they go to soccer. Compare them to the Czech team now? You see...if we DID use our best ATHLETES, guys who can run 4.4 in the forty, have a 40" vertical leap, etc..and have we have 300 million to select from vs say, 15 million who usually ONLY play soccer\football, we'd do much better as a team and again, thats just a FACT...not saying there are not exceptions of GREAT soccer players that are smaller in stature, but as a whole, IT MATTERS. But oh well, we do play other sports herel, so this will undoubtedly always be the routine....see you boys in the next Olympics where I'm sure YOU won't have anything to say THEN, eh? =)

Why do you think our WOMEN soccer team does so well globally, hmm? Because there is no US womans baseball, football, hockey, etc, leages, get it...

Now the Czechs definitively made an impression - a classy great teamwork there. Not only, the folks at Dortmund must be really shocked now! We will definitively need to be on form for the Round of 16 - be the Czechs or Italians.

Although Landon D. was one of the few US players to actually turn up today, the game really exposed his lack of ability - both physically and technically.

BTW is the Czech manager the same that took them to Euro 2004, that guy was amazing - i remember when he played their B team and they still won

Other countries don't really care about the sports that the US wins in (sprinting and jumps...). US are loosing in basketball. Where are your big guys now?
