I agree with that as well. He's a very solid GK but not the best in the world.

Yeah, confidence is one thing. Claiming he, and I quote "suffers from being American" and thus is not regarded as elite or isnt picked up by a big team because of his nationality is just conspiratorial

Everyone else on ESPN seems reasonable besides Lalas. He and Balboa are clownish. I also found it kinda funny that all the male commentators gave their input, and then when Foudy started talking about her players to watch for they played some loud ass theme music over her (H)

I'm a little bit disappointed Johnson isn't starting for us, because we need to get the first goal in this game. If we allow the first goal, we're absolutely screwed. Arena isn't taking the risk of starting Johnson, and that could work out for us, but it could also backfire.

WTF, I'm more nervous about a soccer match than when my Titans played in the Super Bowl, and I don't even watch soccer except for the world cup. Maybe it's because I was so confident in the Titans and I'm just hopeful for team USA. Or maybe it's because the the remainder of this tournament will be approximately 422x more interesting if the USA is a contender than if they bow out. Either way I hope we get a favorable result. This Koller dude looks scary.

I've watched 98 and 02 world cups and i havne't been this nervous before a game either. So much is riding on this game.... from a good world cup start to the reputation of the usa and validity of the 02 cup run we had. Man... this needs to start
