Overview

The WSAG Evolution V2 Option File is finally here! After the huge success of the first version, V2 just couldn't come sooner for some people. The second installment of this OF comes with more new teams, updated kits for licensed & unlicensed clubs, World Cup kits & squads, updated U21 national teams and many more features. Take a look at the list for the all new features.

NOTE: The 4 missing World Cup teams; Angola, Ghana, Togo and Trinidad & Tobago will not feature in this option file.

PLAYERS - APPEARANCE'S & STATS

* All updated player stats from the PLF Database and the Del Piero Clinic.

* Many updated Summer transfers. Ballack to Chelsea, Rosicky to Arsenal plus many more.

* A huge number of promising players from the Master League have been edited i.e. boots, hair, accessories, celebrations for a much more authentic looking Master League experience.

* More appearance & stat edits.

* All recently retired players have been overwritten.

* Celebrations allocted to alot more players than before.

* New Wonderkids added including Sergio Aguero, all created by GeaordieDazzler at pesfan.


KITS - CLUB & NATIONAL

* Tons of updated 2006/07 kits for licensed & unlicensed teams.

* All World Cup 2006 kits updated.

* Nearly all other national teams kits have been updated.

WARNING: If you have already started a Master League with another Option File or even with the WSAG V1 OF, alot of players will have changed due to new teams being added (8 in total). I apologise for the inconvenience. I know it's a pain but i would recommend you start a new Master League when you download V2.

New Features for V2.5

Finally all the World Cup 2006 teams have been updated for the WSAG Evolution OF. More detailed kits for both club & national teams, new set of boots for players, high quality kit logos that won't be found on any other option file, a brand new team and many more new features. All in all this is one of the best option files available on the net!

WORLD CUP 2006

* World Cup 2006 squads fully updated. Again the 4 missing teams will not feature.
(Huge credit to Watson for allowing this).

* World Cup 2006 formations, squad numbers & boots all fully updated.

* Many World Cup 2006 player appearances updated.

* Brand new team for V2.5.....FC Basel replace Rosenborg.

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:

Using Xbox Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA
3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.
4. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.
5. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.
6. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
7. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Select and drag the .max file onto the max drive software.

Using PS2 X-Port...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software
3. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.

Using PC...
1. Download and unzip the file
2. Copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder My Documents > KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1

As highlighted in bold, the save folder above is located in My Documents and NOT the Konami folder in Program Files.

The file MUST be entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT for it to work, so do not change the name of the file.

Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.

To unzip a file you will need to download WinRar or Winzip if you haven't got one of these already.

If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.

Boca Juniors shirts are whole black and River's are still Rapid's, I think. I tried to fix this in Edit Team in the game but it can't. I'm playing WE9 International on PC and I've downloaded option file for that version of the game and I don't understand what is the problem.

Strange?!? Just loaded up PES5 now and the River Plate & Boca kits are fine. This is for the WE9I version right? I'll see if i can fix this for you.

Ronaldinho doesn't have a beard on it mate. And can you elaborate as to which faces look 'poor'?

Probably not, i don't know though. Is kitserver a Patch? I haven't got a modded PS2 you see so i just use option files.

i tried it. its pretty nice....kitserver is a program that lets you stock your kits outside 0_text....& yeah, i have to disable kitserver in order to play with your new kits...just wanted to ask you....are you sure kuffour is transfered at werder bremen?& will you release a new version any time soon?with the latest transfers?...cheers & keep up the good work

ps.did you change every player stats that you found in bagrunnell's thread?cause they are pretty accurate...

One question....as a supporter,did Chelsea swtich to Adidas or was the umbro kit impoosible?

I downloaded the PC WE9 version and put it in the correct folder, but I can't seem to load it. The game doesn't recognize it as an option file. Am I doing something wrong or is it because I have the US version of WE9?

The PES Shop items shouldn't be locked, don't know why thats happened. Are you using the Xbox version or something? I'll see if i can fix it.
