'94 WC for me too, Mexico losing in penalties to Bulgaria.
My dad was a big Glen Hoddle fan(even if he was a Gooner), and later Hoddle became player-manager at Chelsea. Watch some bits of Utd hammering us 4-0 in the FA Cup. Wasn't quite bothered by it at the time, but became engrossed in football soon after.
My earliest football memory was scoring an own goal in pre-school. I remember some kid shot straight at me, and i was standing in front of the keeper, like a clueless zombie and the ball hit me shins and went into the net. Didn't know how the game was played properly back then(apart from kicking the ball), and I wasn't bothered much. That's all changed since.
