Right, this is a situation that has happened to me over the years and once again I have to deal with it. I was wondering if this is one of those cultural things that only apply to my piece of land, or it is an universal fact and hence I'll hopefully get counsel from some of you.
Here's the background: got this friend whom I know for 15 years. We've never been to close but since she dated 2 of my best friends over the years we always kept in touch. She currently lives with my best friend. I'll call her Maria and him Alberto.
Recently I've been to a gig with Alberto, my gf and another friend of ours. So this chick, who's a close friend of Maria, and lives near the town in which the concert was being held and shows up and hangs with us. She's a hottie and I'll call her Clara.
Clara, who knows Alberto quite well, tells him about how she was going to get married but her bf unexpectedly broke up with her 2 weeks ago.
This week I went out with Alberto and Maria, and mentioned how cool it would be for us to do a double date with Clara. To my surprise, Maria was super defensive and all she said was maybe. I insisted a bit later, to show I was for real, but she sort of dismissed me already, like I was trying to go out with HER.
Hey, aren't friends supposed to set up their friends? Why is she being so protective about her girl friend? She's acting as if I just wanted to take advantage of BigTits' current low self-esteem to get her in bed. Hmmm...
I've been denied dates many times before by girls who were supposed to be my friends and set me up with their friends, and this time I decided to be more radical about it. What should I do?
Just 2 important notes that should help your suggestions:
- Clara has a big rack.
- My gf and I are in an offseason.
- Clara has a big rack.
Ok, so those were 3 notes but I guess they're all crucial for this case.
