I'd call it what I call FF7's and Scotto's list with the exception of early Metallica.

Pop disguised as commercial rock.

why can't you respect other people's likes? you suck for being such a retarded.
besides, the concept of rock may vary and it's very ample.

you call them suck and them you give us an example of pure ignorance.

you're kind of contradictory also. you like faith no more and hates red hot chili peppers? surely you don't know the chili peppers -- especially their early works --, hence your ignorant words.

i don't criticize the people for any lack of knowledge they may have (i don't know lots of things!), i only criticize the ones who have an unjustifiable pretentious way of acting.

now what the f*ck does RHCP has to do with anything Mike Patton will ever do? And how you know I don't know any of RHCP's early work? I even own Blood Sugar Sex Magik, you moron...

And I do not hate them I hate what they have become, just like U2 and countless bands that went down the drain a decade ago, but kept their moronic fanbase that can't realise they are sh*t now.

And no I can't respect people who say they love rock and then go and make a list with the 10 sh*ttiest bands around, that are actually the only ones they can remember. That's like saying you like movies and then go and say that your favourites are TripleX, TripleX2 and Fast and the Furious and Fast and the Furious 2. It just shows your retardedness.

In fact not only I can't respect them but I also happen to think that they're wastes of precious oxygen and earth resources... sorry.

Wow, since when does respect over the Internet account for anything? I doubt anyone here gives a toss about who you respect and who you don't respect. And you are aware of age demographic on this forum, right? Probably somewhere in the preteens or something, so you could understand why we get the typical 'Simple Plan' and 'Green Day' fans in here, not that I care or anything.

In any case, Emmer is right. If you're going to be intolerant of other people's musical tastes, do it with some form of intelligence. If you want to be a prick about it instead, take it to PM.

Well if you haven't read the above post... Emmer apparently does... if he didn't he'd shut it.

And I'm ranting man, just planting seeds (H)

I have the hope that...maybe someday one of these kids realise that they're listening to trash and try to discover a band they truly like instead of what they're fed by radios and music channels

How can you sit there and say something like that? How in the world can you know how people here started listening to their favourite bands?

And because bands get their songs played on the radio and TV, that means it's crap? I think it's the other way around, there's a reason these bands, e.g. Red Hot Chili Peppers, makes millions of dollars on their music, because it's ******* good.

BTW, I've heard Nirvana tons of times on the radio and MTV, guess they're crap to...no wait, you have them on your top 10...
