Zidane set to comment on red card on French television at 1900 BST on Wednesday

So.. now that things are cold and he's had time to think about it, Zidane, basically, said "I set a bad example but I would do it again".

It's not the heat of the moment anymore.

Now this is a competition of who's worse, Zidane or Materazzi.

Zidane

"I heard them once, then twice, and the third time I couldn't control myself. I am a man and some words are harder to hear than actions"

he is basically saying that some words are more important that actions...that is the mentality of a child

LOL nice video.

A little off-topic but, if Zidane is stripped of the Golden Ball, I don't think I'll be watching/playing/supporting anything that has to do with FIFA. I was already sick of this corrupt organization and now more than ever, people are sick of it too. I can't even believe there is even a thought to take the Golden Ball away from Zidane. One little incident cannot overshadow the brilliance of one's career.

The thing is, the Golden Ball wasn't handed to him because of his great career. It's no lifetime award although some journalists who voted him thought so. Cannavaro was the best player at the WC and deserves the award.

I know that it's not for his wonderful career, it's about what he showed in the WC and he showed it all. Cannavaro was brilliant throughout the WC but Zidane stepped in when it mattered most. Both of the players were amazing and if it comes down to 200 votes giving Zidane the win, then Cannavaro knows he's that damn good, to be put on the same level as Zidane. It was excited to see Zidane and Cannavaro play. :jap:

yeah... i understand that you want excuses for the only one-inter's-player-in the italian squad is materazzi: the most famous monster-ignorant-idiot-beast that the world have today... but don't criticize zidane just because he is not such a good player on cheating-italian-games. he is not an hipocrite, he is much more honest than the beast mateRATzzi.

anyway, don't be ashame, after all, you've got the cup, anything goes! :nape:

taking the award from him would be the most retarded thing ever. so what if alot of the votes were cast before the final match? that only means the people who voted considered Zidane to be the most deserving, regardless of how the final would play out, meaning that even if Zizou did extremely badly, he'd still get their votes...
ofcourse his past achievments played a big part in the votes, but who gives a sh*t, nobody put a gun to the journalists head and made them vote for Zidane...
