45th minute, cross from de la cruz, put into net by vassell. nice 1-0 up just b4 half time. or so i thought. i look at score and it hasnt registered.............. i go on to lose the match 1-0 and go out of cup. was not happy.................

happened to me too... scored a goal, halftime, went to make a sub, and lo' and behold they magically scored during halftime... im in year 2006

im half way through 1st season. its internet play................... i was wonderin wether it was just the ref blowing up for half time but he shouldnt do it just as the balls crossing the line. either way, its not right..............

Hmmm, you made a sub.

The way CM's match engine works (and the reason why it takes up so much freaking space and time) is that it generates the match before the game starts, so you're really watching a 'tape' of the game. However, whenever you go to make a substitution or a tactical change, it re-simulates the rest of the game from that point, so that the user has 'control' of the match.

There must be something that forces the game to nullify the goal.

This was already what I hated in CM4, I remember I was leading 5-1 in my deciding CL match, but then I made a sub, and after that it was 1-1 and it ended like that, I replayed that match:kader:
