A new EP is being worked on. Releasedate unknown. It will be the final EP for 03/04, as they'll be working on EHM with the complete staff after that.

but i didnt make any subs, changes or anything. i just watched the ball fly into the net and then they awer walkin away for half time. i expected a 1-0 scoreline to appear but it didnt. it didnt disapear, it just didnt appear. neither did any offside decision or anything else to tell me why it wasnt allowed.

I once got the Half Time whistle just as Tuncay rounded the keeper. :kader:

then i can only assume that the ref blew the whistle just as the ball crossed the line.............. which is bollox cos a few games later, i played man utd and was 6-5 up and the ref played over a minute and a half over the 5 mins of injury time and they scored. he then blew the whistle even b4 i had the chance to kick off again and i drew the game 6-6.................. biased, shi't refs or a bug? not sure............... either way, i wasnt happy about either decision..............

thats prolly realistic, the ref wanted United to win. i hope they recitify ALL THE MAJOR bugs in this next EP, and if they dont, it better not be the last EP or i'll pissed, thats 2 CM's in a row i spent money on and i expect a polished game as good as CM3 nad 01/02 02/03 etc

They had many bugs too. akk the games in the Cm3 series. I dont even remember how many games I had to stop after all these silly error msgs. I dont find the game buggy (yeah I go t the game!) only small bugs almost unnoticeable, that every game has

kewl, i just hope i dont experience this crashing bug some ppl are talking about. i'd be pissed off, but i dont know if 'i'll make it to season 2008. i hope i do though. and i hope that score changing bug doesn't screw me over. i can't wait to get managing again tho, after the heartache of cm4 :(

Lemme preface this by saying I am a soccer referee in the USSF.

A referee may stop the game for the half or the full time at any point when he feels the time for that period has elapsed. It's not bollocks or a bug if a referee blows for the half a minute into stoppage after saying there would be four.. or if he blows just as you start to chip the keeper. There is no LOTG that states the ball must be in a non-aggressive position.

Now.. whether or not that ref should get future assignments is something completely different.. but simply blowing the whistle while an attack is going on is not necessarily a bug.

Very true, but there are rules and agreements. A game in the Belgian cup is being replayed, because the winning team had scored a goal from a throw-in, given away for injury-treatment, before the treatment had actually taken place. Of course the FA could do nothing against it, but the winning team has asked for the replay themselves, and the FA has agreed.

Well, I would imagine that FIFA and the IFAB would have something to say to the Belgian FA then. If no LOTG were violated, no matter how crappy the play was, there is no reason that a game should be replayed.

Doing things like this piss me off. If the refs have their authority taken away from them at a whim, why should they officiate to the best of their abilities?

Well, the referee did nothing wrong, but couldn't do anything against the way of action. Therefore the club asked for a replay, as the score wasn't fair to the other team. Nothing against the ref in my opinion.

Nothing against the ref, no.. but it does cheapen the effects of the LOTG. If the actions of a game that are completely within the laws are cause for reversal, what about those actions that a ref takes in accordance with the laws? What's next? FAs deciding that they don't like certain referees decisions and therefore ordering replays? Or , if Man U loses Rio for 2 years, what happens if the FA orders all Man U's games replayed? Champions league included?

Referees have it hard enough out there without having to worry about whether or not FAs will overrule their decisions and their choices. I'm just afraid that this will mean FAs will get to pick and choose what results they like best... a future that is NOT good for footy.

In Holland, bans start when they are decided to be given. That's either on tuesday of each week, or, if the player/team decide to appeal, the tuesday a week after.
I don't know about the English FA, but the way they are handling this affair with Rio, and the way they handled the Man U vs Arsenal thing, takes/took way too much time. If they decide to scratch he matches Man U played with Rio, any fool, who appeals against that decision, could have that decision overthrown.

so blowing the whistle just as the ball crosses the line is right is it?!? if ur a ref and this is wot u think, no wonder we need video evidence!! its an unwritten rule that play isnt in an offensive position. that why most decent refs, blow up whent the ball is in the middle of the field or being held in the corner......................
