Russia stand the most to gain from getting the World Cup ... the exposure and the development of sporting and societal infrastructure is always huge for the event ... so in terms of legacy, they stand the most to gain ... and that's why Russia is a very strong bid, imo, and that's why I hope they get it ...
same goes for Qatar, as they would have the chance to redefine the Middle-East's image as the World focuses on them, and redefine stadium technology through what would have to be cutting edge science and/or engineering application, all this while putting themselves on the footballing map in terms of current and future development ... legacy!
Wow I'm really surprised about Qatar getting it. And with a result like tihs rumors about bought bids won't stop any eralier.gasper000;2959609 said:2018 host: Russia

I know absolutely nothing about the state of football in their country. How many FIFA-approved venues do they have presently?
