360 vs. PS3 vs. Wii

I rented fifa 07 and its the best fifa i've played in years

the best parts are the player movement (with ball) altough its sometimes hard to control it makes dribbling pretty realistic, they are still way behind of pes in terms of tactics (off ball runs, player positioning, defence organization)

oh man if the new winning eleven comes out on feb6th i will be so happy

I have 360 and it is a pile of crap. I played Gears of War, FIFA07, and Fight Night 3. All three games suck, not fun, and just plain time wasters. Personally I think that 360 just does not deliver. I bet same goes to PS3 and Wii, as they dont look much different from the 360.

P.C.S. My advise is to stop wasting time and money for these ****ty consoles and do something important. Such as drawing a picture or at least making a song on your keyboard. Those video games just dont repay in fun for the time and money they require. Next generation my ass!

Yea..O.K! FN3, GOW crap????? You're out of your mind! Dig in to the 360 and you'll see how great it is. It's definately next gen. Xbox Live with its amazing service, social networking, game downloads, media connections, HD movie download to HD directly, etc, etc. + the exclusives...GOW, Condemned, Bioshock, LP, lan Wake, etc.... and then take into account the price too! You'll probably never be satisfied then! As of now, no other system can offer what 360 offers and that's a fact.

anyone seen the ping-pong from Xbox 360 ? the game is one addictive one from what I played at Bestbuy last week.

I wish they could release the same on for the PS3.

Also, I'm impressed with FIFA 07 from Xbox360 version. They look awesome & smooth in gameplay on LCD tv.

I might reconsider to have a hit again in the next FIFA 08 for the PS3 version this year. I might want to buy the WE & FIFA (the next-gen) for the first time !

i bought a 360 but took it back 2 days later cause i was playing it non stop and figured i didn't need to get into games again that much

yeah i have a problem controling it but its mostly because its pretty expensive for me

but i have nothing bad to say about the 360, it looked awesome on my living room hi-def big TV(but i had to use the non-HD one in my room)... I rented Fifa07 which was the best fifa i played in a while but the game tactics and AI was still pretty bad and unrealistic but the player animations were pretty good. I also bought nba 2k7 which was the best basketball game i've ever played but a big boring compared to PES

Saying for the absurd price of PS3, I'm thinking of getting a Wii ... if interesting games came out, not just Nintendo's games.

But as someone said, the hype will restart when kickass games like GTA IV, PES, Gran Turismo, MGS4 come out. I just can't imagine Sony losing this battle so easily.

Maybe some of you 360 experts can help shed some light on a rumor I heard recently. I was told that the 360 price is going to drop ($199 for the core instead of $299 and $299 for the Pro instead of $399) and that they were going to release one with a 120 GB hard drive for $399. The price drop I believe (wouldn't surprise me if it happened sometime before the summer) but the part about the 120 GB hard drive I find a little hard to believe. Has anyone else heard anything about this or is my co-worker full of crap?

120gb is bellow standards in todays computing industry. They could proly make one that fits in my pocket if they ever wanted to... Altho i've no idea about consoles (well... xept from the hardware part that is the only thing that makes me interested in consoles) so i could be wrong..

from what I've seen, wii consoles are much harder to find in any retail stores in the US.

It seems the competition is heating up on from the 3 different consoles in the gaming industry.

Perhaps, the 1st quarter of Sony's corporation losing money since their launch in November. I see more gamers prefer the 360 & wii themselves recently. It's all about the price, I think.

With the upcoming great games from PS3 as you mentioned, Sony can take something from those.

Not too many exclusive games left these days.. and in that department I think the 360 owns the PS3 with Gears of War & Halo ...Sony has even less on microsoft now that GTA, Final Fantasy, and PES, are all available on the 360 too

But remember, exclusives make up only 5% of all the systems games meaning the 95% left is available crossplatform. Price really matters! Anyway, 360 has alot of present and upcoming exclusives (and not only blockbuster ones like Halo 3 and GOW). The not so commercialized exclusives are often just as good.

GTA, FF and other series are in the 360 and I bet Metal Gear will eventually make it too. In fact that's what happened with the MGS games for the ps2, they all came out for the xbox after a while. So yeah, buying a PS3 is not the smartest decision.

But when it comes to first party games nobody comes close to Nintendo. BTW, Zelda: A Link To the Past was made available to download yesterday for the Wii virtual console....damn that game still kicks ass after more than 15 years, I can't stop playing it
