Both off the ball control and first touch control do have to do with football. if every player just recieved a pass and couldnt do anything while recieving, that would not be real. They give you more control over your team, whats not real about that? real argument please. what you said, showed that you know nothing about either and yet you still made a comment about them having nothing to do with football. I want a real reason as to why first touch has nothing to do with real football. why is it fake because it gives the user more control over the passing and recieving game. how is that not real. in real life dont you have control over how you pass and recieve a ball, so why not in the game? off the ball control just made it so you didnt have to rely on the A.I. (which in any game is not as smart as a real person) to open space or go somewhere. if i gather, are you upset because FIFA gives you more control over whats going down on the field. I dont find that unrealistic in any way.

I meant that fifa put too much focus on these features. It becomes a special move that i find real arcady. Sure its got something to do with football, there's a ball in game innit ;) maybe I shouldn't have posted that but it still think the off the ball control thing was total crap. it often didnt work at all cuz the defender that covered you was like synchronized to your attacker, making the EXACT same movements as you attacker so that was too realistic either.

About the first touch. in pes you got this first touch thing. you can control the the ball in various ways when its played towards your player. They just don't give it some new name like its a special kind of feature. Now i dont know how it precisely worked in fifa but when EA implement it in the game, they put it in main capitals on the cover of the game. I get the feeling that they're putting a lot of focus on a feature that should be a standard move in the game.

In pes, these tactical things are more worked out in a general sort of way. thats my problem with fifa :)

I like you all have been let down by Fifa year after year and 2005 is no diffrent.

PES4 on the over all picture is a better game!!
but you cant just keep saying that fifa is crap ect.
you have to give it a go first and i don't mean 5 or 10 min's

this is a fantastic part of fifa which PES4 dose not have, dont get
me wrong i'm not having a go at PES4 i think it's a great game
and i will play this more than fifa now cos it's what i'm looking for in a game but we are all diffrent. i think that the games are great for diffren reasons
and i think it's sad that some of you make realy bad comment's about fifa it's just a diffrent footy game that some of you havent even tryed and if you have spend a bit more time on it and you will like some of the things it has to offer like first touch.

PS i will still buy fifa 2006 on the hope it will be tha game that i hoped for since 95 (and PES5 toooo)

don't call them backstreet boys, they just believe that the (old) PEPSI-commercial with britney playing football (soccer) is realistic. maybe, next fifa will have some new player models like britney, J.Lo or christina aguilera, it would be a good reason to buy it :p
