Yeah I have to agree with you on that one, still it's a pity we'll be missing Klaas Jan but let's see how we do without him for a change.
I read that Ooijer is in conflict with Koeman  so he starts the same way as he did with us but then he had a conflict with Mido

We can relax (Y)
Vermaelen said today that he is not planning to leave, he is flattered because Spurs are interested cause they are a big club but so is Ajax and he is feeling good in Amsterdam and with Ajax next to Stam in our defense.
Good on ya Thomas, great example for other players as well, now let's break open his contract till 2015 and do the same for Klaas Jan :p (H)

Nah, the Ooijer case is more like Trabelsi. He signs a contract but now he's unhappy PSV doesnt let him leave. PSV has every right to keep him to his contract.

hahaha apparently portsmouth are after Huntelaar :D :D :D!!! I think the size of portsmouth and their European commitments this season will convince him to move (H)

Huntelaar is not for sale so they can want all they want and if he leaves in a season (or maybe two) it will be a topclub and no Portsmouth that's for sure
How many times we have to tell those clubs that Ajax will not let him go (yet) :boohoo:
Portsmouth :rofl: man they can't afford them even if they wanted..

Haha.

BTW did anyone of you hear Hatem's now officially gone, he's off to Man City. Bit too low for him, he deserves a higher standard IMO.

Portsmouth can afford anyone they want. They're filthy rich, it's just nobody decent wants to join them.

Well yeah if you ask me it's a bit of a step down from Ajax to Manchester City but I hope he does well. Hatem did a lot of great things for us in the last few years (Y)

Yeah we owned PSV from the beginning, they came back stronger but we were smarter and scored two goals more :p (Y)
I had a great time at the Arena, great celebrations in the end with Stam holding the Johan Cruyff schaal high above his head.
Man PSV play really is so much different with Ronald Koeman as their coach in comparisant with Guus Hiddink. I can say one thing though, they will not win the championship this season, NOW IT'S OUR TIME!

Gabri is a fantastic smart player in midfield, crossing the field like it means nothing. That guy keeps going and running and going and running :o excellent!

The goal from Sneijder was a S C O R C H E R really great quality again :)

I think it's great for Perez to score his first goal for Ajax considering the difficult time he has to adjust and his not so great form but he came through like a champion for us.

Mauro Rosales was great for us as well today, fast and smart like most of the times.

And what can you say about Stam..?? Well that he is our BEST signing this summer, in a short time he showed to be a world class defender and a true captain/leader on the pitch. Wonderfull actions and it was hell for the PSV Strikers to get passed him hehe.
For me Jaap was the MoM and our ROCK again.

Now Ogararu had big problems against Arouna Koné in the first half that's the reason he got subbed by HtC for Heitinga. Koné was too quick for Ogararu.
Although he had some great moves, one time he took the ball from a PSV striker and with the ball on his foot dribbled all the way to the other side of the pitch leaving defenders in his trail. So Ogararu showed what a great player he can be and I'm sure he will take his chance another time.

BUT WE'VE WON OUR FIRST PRIZE and Koeman...well that's how it goes :D

We got a great team for this season but things needs to get better, more rhytm in the team, passing and faster play but it will come I'm sure of that.
I'm very optimistic about this season.

Congrats to Ajax. You deserved it more than PSV: You made less defending mistakes. Our defense was quite awful this match. Luckily this match doesnt mean much.

(3rd season in a row btw, that Silencer states PSV certainly won't win the championship. Remember, last year you won the supercup too vs. PSV and still we won the league, 24 points more than Ajax)

Last year you had Hiddink now you have Koeman.
Last year we had Blind now we have Ten Cate.
'nuff said.

Indeed and surely you PSV fans saw what we saw, psv is not the same without Hiddink so yeah I dare to say it again: psv will not be champions this season.

A few posts back you said that psv had a good midfield?? :o well.......you care to repeat that after yesterday?. Our attackers had it easy with your midfield and o yes...... Lamey was owneddddddddd by Ryan, he showed him the back of his heels all the time :p
And if Ooijer leaves you have big problems in defense, Alex played not really good I guess he wants to work harder for Guus than for Ronald.
Vennegoor is a joke! better load him off as soon as you can but then you have a problem in attacking so in short..psv has big problems at the moment even if you want to admit it or not. We are ready for the new season.
Finally we have a team again who can give psv a real run for their money :p

psv better get their act together soon or I fear a disaster in Europe this season but on the other hand.........who cares right well normally I don't but it's bad for Dutch football and the teams we can send to the CL.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Ajax is there already, we have to play even more agressive and become the Ajax from a few years back. The Ajax that opponents feared when they came to the ArenA and with this coach I think we can become that team again but that will take time.

If we would've used our chances better yesterday we could've scored more goals easily.

Yeah i heard about it yesterday on AT5, he is presented to us by his manager :rofl: and Ajax flatly refused well...van Geel did.
I don't think we need him actually, Gabri is a fantastic midfielder and he showed that on sunday against psv, Roger is back from an injury and will play against RKC and we have of course Maduro and Sneijder so midfielders enough. The selection is at it stays right now, no one will be sold and no player will come into the team. We have enough players to reach the CL and to come far and to get the title this year.

GO AJAX!

Meh sorry but Gravesen >>>>>>> Roger anytime. But okay fair enough we've got Maduro and Gabri for his position.

What's Van Geel on about. VI says he rejected Gravesen a week ago while Ten Cate wanted him.
Van Geel made some good signings for us but I think Gravesen would've been a great addition to our squad.

With all respect to Gravesen, but why would Ajax want some Real-reject? Firstly, his skills are vastly overrated and he doesn't quite fit into our system. Secondly, I'd rather play a young Dutch talent over Gravesen? If he's willing to play second fiddle to Maduro, fine but why have him take up space on the salary roll?
