Did de Jong already have attitude problems during his spell at Ajax? God he's so full of himself. He's yet to make one decent game and then he complaints about his coach playing him out of position. The reaction was that he sat out the entire last games.

Senior Squad
he played very good against werder bremen and well against osasuna... i think he is getting better and better now.

Klaas Jan was brilliant for Holland! (Y)
Two goals and two assists for Robben and van Persie who scored, the backheel to Robben was excellent and the 1-2 with van der Vaart was lovely.
Man is there something that he can't do?? :Bow:

According to van Geel the team as it is now will stay as it is, no players will be sold anymore. Not much to say about Schilder, he is mediocre I guess and words like 'he's the future' is simple BS. Klaas Jan Huntelaar is the future but he is not, not at the moment anyway :rolleyes:
But by all means please take him, Ajax has the most money from all Eredivisie teams but we can always use some more :rofl:
I know that Ten Cate was not happy with Schilder's performance against psv so maybe that's a reason for him to offload him, dunno.

Looks like we might actually accomplish something this year but than again, that's the kind of pre-season excitement we've all had every August for the past few years.

My starting XI:

Stekelenburg;
Heitinga, Stam, Vermaelen, Emanuelson;
Gabri, Maduro, Sneijder;
Rosales, Klaas, Perez;

Players I'd like to see get more playing time than they will: Ryan Babel, Tom de Mul, Jan Vertonghen.

Well my XI for this season is about the same but I choose Rosenberg for Perez anytime!
Perez didn't impress me yet and Rosenberg proved himself to be a great player last season. I think it would be a big mistake to leave him out of the starting 11. Let Perez start on the bench, he has to prove himself, the goal he made against psv was not bad but not that difficult either. Markus is faster than he is. I want to see that Ogararu gets more playingtime, why the hell else did we buy him :rolleyes:

It seems that when van Geel heard that Manchester United was interested in Klaas Jan last week he laughed in their faces and said:"sure give us Rooney and Scholes and a biiiiiiiiig bag of money (40m) and we will talk but that will never happen. If it's up to me then Huntelaar will stay a long time with Ajax, he is NOT for sale".
Now that's why I like van Geel so much, that rat van Gaal would've sold him to the highest bidder already.

Tomorrow RKC homegame, should be a win for us normally, I expect nothing else.
Btw most coaches in the league say that we are the favs for the title this year even Erwin Koeman from 010. Sure now that he lost Kuyt :rofl::rofl:
Best news this week (Y)

Mitea for left winger(when he's not injured (anymore)). Perez, Babel and Rosenberg aren't left wingers, Mitea is the only real left winger. Frankly we need to buy a decent left winger.

Well I just got back from the stadium and I have to say that it was a good start for the season. Good but not fantastic, sometimes the passing was sloppy and that needs to get better. Unnecessary ball loss was the result.
Sure we scored 5 times and that's great of course but AZ scored 8 times yesterday so they are on the nr 1 spot. Not for long though cause we have a stronger and better team than last season. Huntelaar played well, had a few good assists which led to a few goals but no goals and that's worth mentioning. He had a few chances but not really big ones.

After 10 seconds I watched Gryga walking towards the dressingroom and later we heard that he has a probable hamstring injury :( that's not good.
But Ogararu who came on as a sub played a fantastic game, he was dangerous, strong, fast and his defending was very good. Sometimes you saw him run towards the other goal and no one could stop him. I like him and he was very impressive next to Jaap.

Jaap was flawless, he is our star and made no mistakes, he got a yellow card which was undeserved cause he went for the ball so I'm sure Ajax will appeal that one. But again he was MoM today and Stamsterdam is superb guys what a defender, what strength and what height ;) In the defending zone Jaap is the boss that's for sure.

Heitinga was great again today, scored a goal even and was important in the back with Jaap and Ogararu.

Wesley had a few chances to score before he did score but he scored two goals and the first one was a pearler again from long distance. It looks like this is going to be his trademark (H)

Rosales scored also and was very important on the right, I watched him run towards the last line on different occasions and he reminded me of Overmars sometimes, fast and his technique is very good.

And now the situation on the left-wing, Babel started today and he did good in the first half, scored a great goal with his head and when he has the ball it's almost impossible to steal it from him.

But the player that impressed me the most before he was subbed is GABRI omgggggg what a phenomenal player that is on midfield. His passing is 100%, his technique is great and he sees the game really well. Almost scored too but the goalkeeper was in the way. Roger came on the pitch today as well but it was too short to form an opinion about him.

Markus was on the stands!! and not even on the bench, we watched on the screens in the stadium and saw him in his suit on the stands waving.
Ten Cate explained that it's only allowed to bench 7 players so that's why a few players can't be in the selection sometimes. He had Perez and de Mul as attackers. Perez for Babel and de Mul for Rosales. That's all according to HtC. It has nothing to do with Markus himself but it was a technical decision, the next game could be completely different.

But what I like to see is that HtC plays in Ajax style 4-3-3 with strong wingers and his tactical decisions are good up till now.
We're ready for Kopenhagen now!

O btw guys who are joking about Huntelaar or putting him down, you all wish you had a striker like him (H) and he was very important today even if he didn't score but I tell you now that he will be topscorer in de Eredivisie again this year.

Next week Nac Breda awaygame, should be another 3 points.

BTW 010 lost with 0-3 against Groningen :rofl::rofl:
Bye bye Kuyt (H)

Hey Yossarian I have nothing personally against you mate but if you are here to start something or if you can't give any constructive comments I have to kindly ask you to leave this thread.
Zlatan is one of us here and I don't mind you saying anything you want about Huntelaar cause everyone can have his own opinion but if you're here only to start a fight please go. :rolleyes:
And the same goes for Tosiek, make your own thread for all I care but stop acting like idiots here.

Whoa there nellie...........talk about overreacting, no? Bro, I was only being facetious, man. I meant no harm by that post. Just a throwaway line meant for laughter......how could you preceive it as me trying to start a fight or anything even remotely close to that?
