Ahaha, Zidane!

It would be a typical move for an Italian with the attitude of Materazzi to make a racial comment.I have many full-blooded Italian relatives, and it wouldn't suprise me.

Zidane's reaction, as furious and violent as it was would have been justified, nobody has to endure that on the field.

As a "professional", a "classy" player who was captain of his country in a World Cup final, he should have been man enough to ignore it regardless of what was said

i am very upset with Zizou actually. He should have done a better job in knocking out that filthy slimeball. I mean c'mon Zizou couldn't you hit him while he was acting hurt? A couple of more tackels in his flesh would have been nice. And while doing so you could have done a sweet chin music with your predator boots in his country side face.

Well if it indeed was a racial slur than he got what he deserved. I mean we are trying to rid the fans of racist acts with players wanting to walk off the feild and what not. So when a player does it to another player should he just accept it because he is supposed to be a professional/because he gets paid a certain amount of money should just take it? (:/) Honestly, If I was in Zizou's shoes I might have done the same thing. He is human afterall.

Its the World Cup Final... yes... but if any dirty c*nt says something about me, my race, my mother or anything like that, I would the same.
_____

Zidane, you're my hero.

I disagree with everyone else, I thought this was the PERFECT way to end his illustrious career... by knock'in that psycho the f*ck out. (H)

Don't deny it, you all would've done the same.

If it was that bad, he should have put up with it for half an hour, won the World Cup and THEN smashed the **** in the tunnel.

I just can't imagine anything being THAT bad that you'd jeopardise a WC and what's left of your career for it

The more I see this, the funnier it seems. It's the ranadomness that gets me, and that's probably what got Materazzi. If Materazzi really did say something racist, I hope he gets kung-fu kicked by Cantona as well.

On second look, Zidane looked pissed cuz that fagstick Materazzi was playing with Zizou's titty. Look again, fagstick seems to have given Zizou a titty twist. Wouldn't that be a story?

if it was racist, you really cant blame Zidane, he just followed FIFA's campaign "let's kick racism out of football" :D.

Materazzi should burn in hell, he got what he deserved regardless of what was said during the incident. I think if it was avoided, the game would be a different story but that's not the case. Zidane handled it perfectly by putting that faggot in his place. I hope he cracked his ribs as well, that would just make me feel even better. What a way to end a wonderful career though, taking out the biggest idiot in style.

Farewell Zizou, you will be missed. :ewan:

Yeah, I saw a picture of Materazzi pulling on Zidane's nip...

Yup, I'd say the headbutt was justified.

There are ways to deal with it, and ways not to deal with it. FIFA and UEFA are apparantly getting serious about stamping out racism, so you lodge a complaint after the game. You don't headbutt the guy, get sent off in the World Cup Final as a Captain letting your team down, and as a role model set an example for millions of kids around the world.

Zidane is a role model and he sends just as bad a message as Lazio's Ultras do every game; violence is NOT acceptable in civilized culture and every person who is replying "that was great" or "Materazzi got what he deserved" or "Everyone would have done the same thing" are showing that you have a lot of growing up left to do: just like Zidane. I don't care what Materazzi said to him, if that incident was on the street instead of a football pitch, Zidane is spending the night in jail, as he should be doing now.

meh, violence pops out sometimes and it is as humanly as civilization in human nature, especially when you are tempted.. I suppose I know your attitude, this is "I always think right and do the right thing in every occasion" but it doesn't work out like that in real life.. you sometimes lose your temper, sometimes don't, you sometimes act logical, and sometimes act based on your insticts.. that's life, that's the way it is..

if you still don't understand what I'm talking about, think about sex.. it is the moment when your insticts pops out, you never say "could you please turn around so we can do it in the doggy style", you just turn her around and bang..
