Yellow Card
If he does nothing, the world will criticize him.

If he does something (attack), the world will criticize him.

The US President, regardless of his name, is in a lose-lose situation.

I've come to realize that If he does nothing, the only ones that will criticize him will be those being directly affected.

After listening to his speech and his decision to take it to congress, I was ready to say that this was not going to get approve. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. But now as days have gone by and hearing what is being said, Kerry making his presentation and Nancy Pelosi already saying that Obama has her backing, I do believe we will attack Syria.

It shouldn't be our priority to solve the world's issues. We already have our own fucking problems right now...

Just my opinion...

That should have been done months back, catch them by surprise. Instead, we are now pretty much letting them know when and where we are going to hit them and at what time.

The problem is who will lead Syria after Assad ... there are some radial and al qaeda groups among the rebels now ... and they have big ties with Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood ... I fear them more than Assad ... look at Iraq, everyday 100 people die because of their Bombings ...

kp, why do you think Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood are worse than the current ba'athist regime? Also, the mujahideen fighters (islamist militant groups) also participated in armed conflicts in Yugoslavia, but I wouldn't have dared to bring that as an excuse to support Miloševic. I think we have to be very very careful with this rethoric. If we oppose the intervention, we should not give credit to a mass murdering dictator and his regime.
