I saw a few rumours about us being in for Kagawa...its twitter...but if true we also have a player who could interest them in Bendtner to replace Barrios.

We should look at free agents such as Bosingwa(back up Sagna),Jusi/Gordon(Sir Ches)

Sir_Didier_Drogba, players don't want trophies, that's why the go to Arsenal. Having to buy and special-order cabinets for medals and **** is too much of a hassle. Can you imagine if poor van Persie were a Blue? He'd have to fit 10 winners' medals in that cabinet!

Seriously though, Robin has won the FA Cup and Community Shield at Arsenal, and the UEFA Cup at Feyenoord. He's been borderline more successful there (in terms of titles).

And for the Mata thing, we discussed this when he signed. He chose Chelsea because Chelsea compete for titles, and Arsenal and Spurs don't. Case in point? Spurs are in Europa League next year, Arsenal are 3rd, and might have to qualify for the group stages, whereas we won the FA Cup and CL. In our worst season in a decade.

Haha yeah Torres is called the best striker in the world for five years during which he wins precisely nothing at club level....... followed by 18 months with us where he is called the worlds biggest flop and comes away with the biggest prize in club football...... we offer players the money they deserve and consistent regular silverware........ the two things Arsenal are famous for not offering.

You really think Mata would have chosen a move to Arsenal over a move to Chelsea? You really think Arsenal would stand a chance of taking Mata off Chelsea now, as Ilaje said they could?

I do think he would have gone to Arsenal over Chelsea. Style seems to mean more to him than results, although arguably Arsenal are better at both as evidenced by league position. He obviously wouldn't move now, no.

There are direct Mata quotes that he chose Chelsea over Tottenham and Arsenal. Unless you think he was lying, there's no debate to be had, he chose Chelsea.

And yes, we've finished above Arsenal every year since Euro 04 and the one season we didn't, we won the CL and FA Cup, but yeah, Arsenal are arguably better.
