yep... a shame isnt it
but, u have to agree that any goalie with a good defence is alot more relaxed. for example, cech, although he IS amazing, he has a great defence and that helps him. but with, lets say, lehmann (at some point) we had a sh.it denfence and he was more fragile to mistkaes.

shut up. cygan was class today. hes so much better than u di.ckheads rate him.

i dont think cygan was that bad today, at least compared to some others, out midfield were oblivious to any of their passing, any of their passing just went straight through the midfield adding pressure to a nervous looking defence. But that might have been to tactics. Lauren in defence made 2 crucial mistakes, first coming in from marking c.ronaldo to try to tackle giggs, then not tracking c.ronaldo even though you can clearly see campbell clearly telling him to stick with him, only for c.ronaldo to just pass him for the easy finish.

yes. we needed gilberto BADLY today this is the type of game he loves).
and lauren just cannot play anymore in that position at the very least. either use him as a RM, or let him go. we certainly dont neeed his frailties to ruin our defense. i feel if we use him as an off-the-bench RM (like pennant should have been) and put kolo at right back with buying a new defender then we have a great option if one of the 2 CB's are injured (bringing toure back to the middle and lauren onto the right)

Cygan is good but just can't handle the pace and physical side of the EPL. He is a good backup for European matches but sucks in the EPL. However he played well tonight.
Wenger needs to sign Timo to a precontract NOW. Offer him as much as he wants because an oppurtunity like this does not come by often. Use the transfer money next year to buy a better experienced CB and we'll be set. I think by next year Lauren will be on the bench to make way for Eboue and Hoyte.
